lol, your all welcome to join. Thats a great list! And I just decided to have the plot open-ended and it dosent have to go with the books or the movies, and just to be what we make of it =]

Arod cantered into the clearing, then stiffened. Something is amiss...
Legolas frowned lightly. What is it, old friend?
The air...it smells of some scent...I have encountered it before. Arod replied silently.
Legolas glanced about the clearing, his eyes pealed for danger. A slight rustle came to the left of them. He glanced out of his peripherals, his fingers drifting to his quiver. He took an arrow and fitted it into his bow. Arod slowly turned, sensing Legolas's plan. More rustling came from every side.
Legolas's heart sank. We are surrounded.
Arod dug his hoof into the ground nervously, his ears laid back. We should find the others.
Indeed, Legolas told him silently. He turned Arod towards the North, and suddenly, with a burst of speed, Arod charged into the dense forest. Orcs burst out of the trees, their weapons held high. Legolas shot one, and continued to ride North, and the direction he had last remembered the Fellowship to be in.

Brego grased plesently as Aragon layed sleeping. But Brego's head shot up and listened intently hearing the sound of fast hoofs comming this way, then th sound of clashing metel. He had to help his friend. Brego nuzzled Aragon waking him up. Once he got his attention, Brego jumped around duing a few litttle rears, giving Aragon the message. Aragon quickly took Brego's saddle tightened it down, then but the bridal on, which Brego was already grapping for the bit. "I'll heave to fix it up later." Aragon mutterd and he put out the fire. Brego understood. Aragon quickly warned the others to quietly move deeper into the woods and not to be seen, and quickly mounted Brego, who took off in a gallop as soon as Aragon sat.
