Handion glanced back at Eldarion and Raelyn and taking a deep breath, walked over to Eonera and said, "Yes." He said, nodding to her comment. "Some changes are going to be crucial, some will be for the worst..." He glanced out the window and then, with one more deep breath, took Eonera's hand in his one. "...And others for the better." |

Eldarion grinned at Handion, then turned to Realyn and said in a quiet voice. "So, what is on your mind? Is it Elboron?" ~~~~~~~~ Eonera blushed, and squeezed his hand a little, and closed her eyes and turned away from the window. She couldn't bear it any longer. She had to get out of this cramped, cold, depressing city. "I need to go for a ride. It's been forever since I rode a horse just to ride," she said. "Anyone want to join me?" |

Raelyn looked Erona. " not right now. but you two go along." she grined. once they had left Raelyn looked at the bored and sighed. a single tear dropped onto the bored. " yes...it's Elboron." she said softly |

Handion nodded and looked at Eonera. "You ready, then?" He asked her. ~~~~ Elboron took a deep breath and asked, "Where is father and mother? Won't they want to see there blind son?" He asked his siblings. Alythrya sighed heavily, and said, "They went to talk to the Ciditual Gaurd. Orcs have been seen protroling the grounds." |

Handion smiled and nodded his thanks to Eldarion and Raelyn before following Eonera. |

Eldarion watched Eonera and Handion leave, then turned to his sister. "What about Elboron? Is it that much of a loss that he is blind? At least he lives. He lives because a shared love is stronger than Morgul poison. There is no need to cry, my sister," he said, wiping her tear. ~~~~~~~~~ Eonera led Handion down to the stable, and all the way to the back where her two horses stood. One, a big chestnut stallion with a stripe and two socks named Pirate, and the other the mare she had taken from Rivendell was Hithwen, that was dapple-grey(digging through the posts, I found the names and colors of the horses again). "You have a horse, right? I'm riding Pirate, since I haven't in awhile." |

"I actually lost my horse in battle a few weeks ago, to an orc arrow." Handion admitted shamefully. "May I borrow Hithwen today?" He asked. "If not, I am sure Elboron won't mind if I borrow his...or Alythrya, for that matter." |

"You can borrow Hithwen. Though in a race, she would win, being a steed of the elves. But yet... Pirate's great great grand sire was a meara. So, I guess I wouldn't know who'd win a race," she said, leading the bay gelding out of his stall, and started to tack him up... |

Handion nodded his thanks and asked, "Are we racing, then? Or just a simply trot or gallop through the meadows? Or both?" He asked and began to prepare for the ride as well. |

Handion smiled. "You are not the only one, Eonera. I was born and raised in Rohan..." He said, dropping off in mid-sentence, remembering the smell of the stables and the hot sun yet cool air against his face...he missed it there. |

Eonera nodded, and they rode out of Minas-Tirith. For awhile they rode side by side at a canter. Then, with a smile, Eonera leaned forward, and urged Pirate into a gallop toward the river Anduin just North of Osgiliath... |

Handion let the wind go through the small, thin thrands of his hair and grinned as he took a deep breath of the fresh air, the smell of grass filling his nose and lungs. Then, he felt a rush of wind and he opened his eyes and watched Eonera rush past him. Handion laughed and urged his own horse foward, catching up easily. |
