Well, this is an idea that has been dancing around in my head for some time now (about one and a half years to be exact) and I've finally pulled all the details together.

The story takes place about the time that the ringbearers reached the shores of Valinor, but before the time that Celeborn followed with the rest of his people. Elrond, Celebrian, Galadriel, Thranduil, Glorifindel, and all of the other elves live happily in paradise, and have no worries in the world. It is simply a matter of waiting for the rest of their loved ones to reach the white shores of the Undying Lands. Or, so they think.
What they don't know is that there are two different 'dementions' if you will, to their lives. There is not only the Valinor and peace demention they are used to, but also another. And in that other demention, they themselves are much different people as well. And much younger.
And, both 'halves' of their beings are comepletely unaware to the fact that these dementions are in fact different galaxies headed on a collision course. And when their galaxies start to collide and mix into one another, the elves in Valinor recieve news that Celeborn has mysteriously and suddenly fallen ill and immoble. This happens at the exact same time that his younger counterpart was injured terribly in a car accident, and hasn't woken up for five days.
On the other side of things, the young 'elves' are oblivious to the damage done, but are quite aware that another mysterious galaxy is colliding with theirs; It's all over the news. But after their routine hike in their backyard forest, they find themselves in a different world.
And then, they find themselves.

And, I don't mean to be selfish, but I only have two characters because there is a specific way I want to play those two...
