This sounds like before the Fellowship of the Ring, with Isildur. So, I am going to take the storyline and twist it some. Tell me if you all like the idea.
Sauron had forged the ring of power, the one ring, and is beginning to take over Middle-Earth. The rebellion arose, but understood that, in order to free themselves, they needed to destroy the ring. So, they sent out some of this new rebellion to retrieve and destroy this new ring of power.
While making plans, the rebellion noticed that the pillaging and plundering had halted. The ring was taken, stolen. So, the new job of this group is to find out who stole it, retrieve the ring, and destroy it before Sauron gets it back.

Awesome.. so we can start right when the plot twist occurs.
I just need to keep track of who is joining and such and who is still here. So, even if you are on the list, please say that you are still doing your characters.
Yeah, that is true. I can start, but we need to finish up on getting some characters. While Dani is gone, someone will need to play Aragorn. I will play Pippin for him.
