I'll just start this up from the old board! Remember, this is the RPG where Legolas recruits some of us to help him return to Ithilien, to make it beautiful again. Second-to-Last Post, by me, Idril: For the next few days, I roamed over the White City. I gazed up at the stately statues of beautiful stone, I bought herbs and flowers from the little children in the street, I wandered through the courtyard until I knew every stone by heart. The beauty of Men was altogether different from the beauty of Elves, and yet, I felt drawn to them. I was getting restless, anxious, looking across the battlements to where the woods of Ithlien lay beyond. I was ready. Whether, or where, my companions were, was unknown to me. Last Post, by Silmeriel: Silmeriel waited impatiently. Spying Idril, she walked over. "When do we leave? Should I gather our companions? Psssst, Corwin, you were doing something with Legolas, is it okay for us to move on? |

Lindelwen was walking the stone streets when she ran into Idril and Simeriel. "Hello!" she said approaching them. "Do you know where Legolas is? I have news that may interest him." |

may i join? you can find the details of my girl on the new characters place. ***************************** Jimbok didn't know why these people liked all this stone. To her, stone was just there to support the beautiful trees. Of course, she had lived in a forest for thousands of years, so she would obviously like trees better. Still, she wondered why people would bother living here instead of in a beautiful forest. Jimbok figured she would never know. Legolas had come a few weeks before to the forest to ask if Jimbok and Rider-root would help him make Ithilien beautiful again. Both Jimbok and Rider-root loved trees, and they loved beautiful things, so of course they said yes. They had journeyed here all the way from Fangorn forest, and that was an accomplishment in itself. But now Jimbok was wondering something. Where was Legolas? |

Silmeriel kept herself hooded, her identity secret as she excused herself to wander the city. If He had not been after her, she would have freely told all around her who she was. As it was, she could not, could only be 'Arva'. If He knew she was here- she didn't even want to think what would happen to those she loved. No, she would go to Ithilien and restore it, but not reveal who she was until it was safe. |

Corwin, Legolas, and the others soon reached the lower gardens. Everything here was peaceful and cool. The sun was banished by the shadow of the citidel (Ak Spelling!). Some stood, others sat on the cold stone benches. After everyone was settled in, Corwin moved to Lord Legolas. "And now to business my lord. How may we restore the beauty of Ithilian?" |

Lost in her thoughts, Silmeriel didn't realize she'd run into a man until she did. "I'm sorry, sir, are you all right?" she asked. "That was completely my fault." The man laughed. "No, no harm done. What are you called?" he asked. A shadow flickered over Silmeriel's face. "They call me the Night'ngale." Whispers rose from those around them- "The Night'ngale- that means He follows." "I've heard of her- heard good of her, but that evil follows." "The Night Singer, aye, that's her." Silmeriel bowed silently and fled. |

"It will take time... time, and patience," answered the Prince of Mirkwood. "Perhaps many long years in the lives of Men." Legolas let the sea-wind blow through his hair. "I will take up abode in Ithilien, and learn to speak the language of the growing things there." He smiled at Corwin. "It is not a matter of how, but when." He turned to face the general group. "What say you to departing tomorrow?" Corwin wrote: Corwin, Legolas, and the others soon reached the lower gardens. Everything here was peaceful and cool. The sun was banished by the shadow of the citidel (Ak Spelling!). Some stood, others sat on the cold stone benches. After everyone was settled in, Corwin moved to Lord Legolas.

"Aye!" I ventured. (Me, Idril.) I surprised myself with my eagerness of voice, and blushed a little, seeing how no one else had said anything. |

Corwin settled back against a nearby wall and closed his eyes. Time... what a hollow thing. He opened his eyes to the light of the sun that sprayed the courtyard. Smiling, he returned to his quarters in the garrison to dress properly for the expidition. Ten minutes later he was back among the crowd. He crowded up to Legolas. "With your permission, I myself will depart today. It has been long since I have last seen Ithilian and my heart warms at the thought of being among the trees again." |

Silmeriel stepped out as well, still hidden under her cloak. "As will I." she said simply. |

"As it seems the others are. I am ready, and the others will follow at their readiness," Legolas said as he nodded in assent. "My heart is glad to have such support from you, Corwin, and others. It is not merely a job for gardeners." He ran off lightly to ready his horse. |

I had all my things ready. I knew the way to Ithilien, but I didn't want to travel alone. I wore a cloak and hood of Lórien weave, fastened with a green stone. Underneath was a sort of robe-tunic that I wore traveling, and my grey suede boots. I had no weapons - I travelled peacefully. I looked about for any others that were ready to travel. Presently I caught a glimpse of Prince Legolas. "My lord!" I called, riding up. Once I reached him and had his attention, I bowed my head. "Is it time to depart?" "For most of us. I am ready, and there are others. We only wait for them here. I have already farewelled Lord Aragorn and his lady." |
