A quiet meow drew Nessa's attention to the saddlebags. Thank You she thought,glad that she didn't have to say anything more. She pulled the cat out and set it on the ground. As it went to explore the lake, Nessa turned. A swift movement caught her eye. "Did you see that?" she asked her companions.

Cale ducked down, cursing himself silently as he assumed he had been seen. He froze behind the brush, his black eyes glittering as he planned his next movements and actions.

Nesselde scowled twoards the bush. She was pretty certain she had seen something move. She didn't know who--or what--was back there.
But there was something. Of that she was certain.

"I am guessing you see something, too Nesselde?" Nessa whispered, noting Nesselde's scowl towards the bush. Nessa moved slowly toward the treeline, hoping that when the person or thing moved again, she could catch it or them.

Cale remained still as stone, not moving even an inch. His breathing was silent, and only his black eyes flicked from the woman approaching to the one that had stayed in the clearing. He scowled, tensing as he prepared to reach for his knives.

(Sorry, guys,me and my kindle forgot my password, so I can only post on my computer now.  ) Nessa edged toward the bush, her sword concealed. When she had reached the bush,she drew her sword and cleaved downward with all of her might. Her blade met other blades. She tried to disarm the person, but they fought back.

He managed to flip one of the woman's blades from her hands, and began forcing her back towards the clearing as he fought. He was quick, agile, and had much strength.

(Sorry again guys. I do not know what is going on with the emails!)
Marylyn glanced between the trees, sensing her companions discomfort and unease. She had seen a flicker of movement, but had assumed it to be a bird of some sort. That was until a man forced himself out of the bush, brandishing his blades fiercely. Marylyn stepped forward, her hand on the hilt of her sword. "Easy now." She spoke softly. "Put your blades away. I am sure neither of us have come here to fight..." she opened her hand, welcoming the newcomer.

Nessa gradually lessened her attacks on the man. Soon she dropped her remaining weapon, nimbly sidestepping the man's final swing.

Nesselde continued to back away slowly. Her hunting bow was on her saddlepacks and she would feel a lot safer if she could get to it.

"Who are you?" Nessa asked. "And why were you sneaking around behind all of those bushes?" She cocked her hip out, awaiting the man's answer with obvious dislike. She did not like anyone who slunk around watching people. Her thoughts flashed to Ellian, her friend. He'd been like that. Tears sprung to her eyes, and she fought to hold them back, concentrating instead on the answer to her question.
