Marylyn watched the arrow where it landed in a nearby tree. "I think it would be wise for you to start talking." Marylyn drew out one of her long blades.

He ignored the arrow, knowing she didn't have the guys to kill him. "I do not have to. Since I have not harmed you, and only fought because you attacked first, I can walk away from this an innocent man." he growled, beginning to walk again.

At this, Nessa walked to her saddlebags, pulling out the rope. Hoping one of the others got the message, she calmly stood by.

"Seeing as we are in the wild and all...No rules applying...What makes you so sure we are going to let you walk away?" Marylyn grabbed his arm again, her grip tighter than before. "Innocent is a strong word don't you think?"

He again jerked his arm from her. "Leave me be woman, you are no match for me." he hissed, his hand reaching for his sword. "If I had meant to harm you, I would have already. And it is beginning to look tempting."

Nessa reached down to grab her sword, which this man had flicked out of her hand. Her second sword was now sheathed at her side.

"Come on, Marylyn." Nessa Thought as she waited for the right moment. Edging around behind the man, Nessa hurriedly ran through her plan. Tying the man up might be hard.

The man swiftly turned. "Do not even try." he warned. I am going to leave, and you are going to stop nagging me." he said harshly, his own blade coming up in defense.

Her retaliation was swift. A quick thrust aimed at his stomach. Nessa threw Marylyn the rope.

Marylyn thrust her hand out, grasping the rope tight. Holding it in both arms she threw it around the man and wound it round him tight, his arms pulled tightly against his side. "You were saying about us being no match for you?" She teased, raising the tip of her sword to his throat. "Start talking." she commanded.

Nessa silently applauded Marylyn. Nessa crossed over to Marylyn and the man, standing with her hands on her hips. "Start talking, or I just might reconsider only tying you up."

He smirked darkly, then hooked his leg around Marylyn's ankles and sent her flying to the ground. He grabbed her and spun her around, then held her to him, his blade at her throat. "Put down that dame sword before you hurt yourself, and I'll talk."

Marylyn gasped as she tumbled to the ground. She managed to stifle a scream as the man pinned her to the ground, his blade at her throat. She stared up into his cold eyes. "If you were going to kill me. You would have done so already." She angled her blade so it pointed to his throat. "What are you so desperate to hide?"

He knocked the blade away easily. "I said," he repeated, "Put the weapons down and I'll talk. If you keep threatening me I will have no responsibility for my actions."

Marylyn glanced around at her companions. There was nothing they could do. No move could pull this man from her without injuring her. With a sigh, she let her sword clatter to the ground. "Start talking," she hissed sharply, staring up at the man coldly.
