Erestia frowned. "Something happened that changed him." She walked slowly to Glorfindel's quarters. "You asked for me?" Glorfindel looked really upset. "Erestia, has no one told you? My daughter has died!" Glorfindel's wife, Naririel came from the shadows. "Killed by the orcs that hunted you."

Aranye had no idea who Eruana was. She had never met Glorfindel's daughter. She felt out of place, and afraid that Glorfindel might think it wrong for her to mourn his daughter, she slipped away.

Erestia saw Aranye leave. "Glorfindel, let me take the place of Eruana. I will try to fill her place." Glorfindel smiled. "Thank you, Erestia!" He frowned. "Your friend doesnt like me." Erestia hurriedly excused Aranye. "I need to explain to her what happened. Goodbye!"

"Glorfindel loved his daughter a lot. Eruana and i were best friends for a long time. Im not sure what happened, but i think its best tgat we leave Glorfindel alone for the time being." She looked at her friend. "Please dont be angry. He didnt mean to offend you or the dwarves."

Just as Erestia was going to reply, Kili and Fili appeared, saying that Thorin was going to leave. "I guess we are leaving." Erestia picked up her bag. "We'd better go!"

"Why is Thorin so eager to go?" Asked Erestia. Suddenly she realized that she hadn't said goodbye to Glorfindel. She turned and ran down the hallway. "Erestia, wait!" Kili called. "Where are you going?" She turned, "Go on without me, I'll join you soon!" Knocking on Glorfindel's door, she wondered if she would be able to catch up. "Im sorry, Glorfindel, i have to leave, i promise to return to Rivendell!" Before he had a chance to say anything, she hugged him and ran off.
