I'm ready to start whenever, and I'm also good with whatever setting.

Appearance: dark-haired, stubbled like his father, grey-eyed, tall with a lithe build
Personality: generally good-natured, but he can be rather terse
Parents: Aragorn and Arwen
Realm: the Reunited Kingdom
Other: Gay! Younger (non-canon) brother of Eldarion, older than their sisters.

Hi Jax, my character is Vendë of Dol Amroth. So I'm ready to start. Since it is my first rp, I don`t know how to start.

*waves* I thought your character was very good. I am sure you can follow the lead of others until you get the hang of it and no one is going to be touchy if you are just learning the ropes I am sure. :) Good to have you in the RP, though!

I was thinking maybe we'd start with a banquet in Minas Tirirth and all meet up there. Sound good?

Sounds like a plan. I like it. :) What would the purpose of the banquet be? Or is there a specific purpose?

Idea for the reason behind the banquet: Gondor just signed a peace treaty with Harad?

Another idea for the banquet could be a birthday (Aragorn's maybe?) Or something that had to do with the reclaiming and rebuilding of Angmar? Maybe they reclaimed Minas-Morgul and they're celebrating and announcing it has being named back to Minas-Ithil?

Any of the above sound good to me. I'm not picky. :P

I like the last suggestion most.

We can go with the reclaiming of Minas Ithil.

Works for me if no one else has an objection. I'm pretty easy to get along with. :P

Minas Ithil thing sounds cool :-D

Anyone want to start? Eruaina, since it was your idea?

It's been far too long since I have had the pleasure of joining in on a large group RP! :D

Sure, I'll start. I'm not home atm, but I will post as soon as I am!

Posting order is pretty much random. Whenever you see someone you want your character to interact with, then post! I've seen people who would be every other post in a group rp. While others only posted once a page even. Just don't make one post right after another(double posts).

Like I said, I'll reply in a bit.

Also, there will be a need to play "NPC's" (characters none of us have rightly claimed, but still need to be played). They're basically characters anyone can pick up and write dialogue for. Starting off, I'll be using Aragorn (as he will likely give a speech). But that doesn't mean I'm the only one who can "play" Aragorn.

(If no one replies to this post by the time I can start this, I'll just edit it to the end of this one)

Okay, here we go!

~~~~
There was a great celebration in the city of Minas-Tirith. A celebration for a victory recently won. King Aragorn had decided to hold a feast and ceremony for the occasion. The great throne room had been turned into a feast hall with many tables. At the table nearest the high throne sat Aragorn and Arwen. And beside them were Faramir, Eowyn, Eomer, and Imrahil. The kings and rulers of those who helped with the victory.
Near that table was a much larger table, where sat the family of those at the previous table. It was a place of honor, though not as high as the kings, queens, and steward. Of course there were other tables in the room full of celebrators
Not long after the feast commenced, Aragorn stood from his chair and the room fell silent. He looked around the room with an expression of peace.
"Welcome everyone, who has come to this feast. Many of you already know what this is about, while some do not. Ever since the end of the Third Age and the War of the Ring, peace has fallen upon Middle-Earth. Though there still has been struggle with orc and goblin, men have found hope and strength to reclaim what once was fair.
"As is known, the once fair tower of Minas-Ithil had fallen to the enemy, renamed Minas-Morgul. But no longer is it the dreadful city of the wraiths. It is once again a place of beauty, and light, reclaimed for Gondor by all the allies of the free people. To Eomer of Rohan, and Imrahil of Dol Amroth I give you thanks, for this day would not have been possible without your aide.
"And so now I make it official. Let it be known that Minas-Morgul is this day renamed to be the city of the moon once more. It is once again Minas-Ithil. May it remain fair," he announced, raising his cup of wine. The gather people raised their own glasses in a toast, and repeated his last words.
"May it remain fair."
With that, the feasting continued as minstrels came out and played cheery songs.
Elfwine and Eonera sat at the second table, having already known the cause for celebration. They both raised their glasses joyfully before drinking deeply and continuing to eat. Elfwine had been part of the battle to reclaim the city, there was a healing cut on his cheek as evidence. While Eonera had remained on at Edoras, envious of her brother for being able to go. But she still celebrated with everyone all the same.
Miriel cheered loudly, earning a frown from her brother. She smirked at him and reached across the table for some bread.
"Well, what do you all think of the new city?" she addressed the group at her table.
