Deawen eyes stung her mask was to tight but she could not stop not now not when she was so far ahead she stopped at the top she could not breathe "they need a better system" she thought then she walked out the door way the fresh air felt good in her lungs she had only been there for a day but any longer and she would have killed those men she heard gaurds rushing up the stairs "im tired of running away" she whispered then she sat down near the door way she rested her head on the wall then the gaurds saw her they charged forward Deawen didn't stirr she heard one close by whisper she opened one eye then said " it's a bout time" they moved in on her "no! if you want to feel steel then go ahead if not i want to see his lordship" Deawen said casually

not a sound... not a sound her breathing quickened. what if they left without her? she could not make a sound, she was too weak to move to the edge of her cot. they forgot she was here! Terror filled her as she tried to keep her heartbeat normal, but it wa a fruitless attempt. it pounded in her chest. not a sound! she told her self firmly, as she bit into her lip to keep from crying out.

*Siladhiel heard footsteps coming closer, and then a figure stood in the frame of the door. At first, it looked like it was one of the guards, but the figure bent low, and picked her up in his arms. It was then she realized that it was Sen.*

*A warmth spread through her from where his hands were, and she felt strengthened, and to her amazement, her wounds began to heal.*
Nobody will get left behind. I will carry you out of here, and take you to a healer. No one will bother you there...

Eadwyn rose to the bars of her cell, newly cut by Sen, and pushed them open. She then went to Deawen and the other Rohirric maiden.

Alassea was standing still as a stone on the other side of her cell door, arms crossed, her eyes locking on Sen as he opened her door to set her free. Indeed, she felt grateful, but now she was left with an even harder mission: To return home without a beating.
Others had already gotten acquianted ( sp? I'm a bit sleepy) and shuffled out, as far as she knew, it was just her, Sen, and the injured woman.
She stepped wordlessly out of her 'stall' and strode down the hall, passing Sen and the girl. He had been so kind, and so patient, and all Alassea had done was spat in his face. Guilt arose in her, and so unlike what her father would have done, she turned around, just as Sen was carrying the woman out.
" Forgive me, 'Sen.' I am not accostumed to such loyalty and kindness. I hope that the next time we meet, we will not be foes, but allies."
She gazed at him for a long time, not moving an inch from where she stood.

*Sen looked at her, and as he put on his helm, he smiled.* You waited, did you not, my lady? All is forgiven; allies we yet remain. I would like to fight side by side with you in battle, yet I would like it even more to sit by a hearth with you, elves, men, and dwarves in times of peace.

---Three Days Earlier---


Alassea sat at the end of a long wooden table, the only light in the room emitting from a solitary candle in the center of it. She stared unblinkingly at the flickering flame, as Erestor paced around the table in slow torturing circles, keeping his red gaze fixed apon her.

" You -will- do this. It is in your nature to do this. Fail, and you will see Valandil's head on a platter right where you sit." His voice was calm, and slightly raspy; holding an air of authority.

Alassea did not move, nor did she breathe. She merely seemed to shrink in her chair, overwhelmed with grief. Erestor stood behind her, placing a cold hand on her shoulder rather tightly. " You'll be leaving tonight for Gondor, then, won't you?"

Alassea nodded, remaining mute. Spying was not such a horrible task, he had asked her to do worse things in the past, but it would be indeed hard, what with the tight security. She stood up, and vacated the room, leaving her father alone in the dim light.

---Present.---

Alassea looked at Sen. " I do not deny that my heart longs for that as well. However, I do not think you will see me in such a peacefull place, nor will you be able to fight alongside me." She smiled slightly. " The world needs more soldiers like you. Take her to that healer, now won't you? She looks horrible."

She gasped as the warth spread through her, and eased the pain. she was still so weak though. fighting to stay awake she looked up at Sen, her mouth opened, then shut again. she grasped the front of his shirt, but her eyes hazed over and she slipped out of conciousness.
