(Anyone can join.)

Alassea had perched herself on a tree branch that hung just above two men who seemed beside themselves with excitement. She watched patiently and bemusedly as they played some sort of game that involved stones and numbers, but she could not understand the point of it. Nor did she care too, these old 'coots weren't her priority in Gondor.

It was early morning, and the weather couldn't make up its mind. Cloudy one minute, the next it was sunny. Time was running short, and with it, Alassea's patience.

Just then, a cloaked figure stepped out of a shop or something of the like, and made it's way down the street.

( 'K, I'll need someone to be this mysterious hooded person.. Point is Alassea's a spy and yeah.. You get the gif. :sly:

(lol, i'll be your hooded figure)

Falathiel pulled the hood of her white cloak up before she entered the streets. She didn't want everyone gawking at her pointed ears or silver hair or recognizing who she was. Grabbing the package, containing the herbs and relic she had purchased, she exited the shop. She felt a prescene watching her but she paid it no mind and she hurried into the square.

( Oh joy. If you aren't too busy, you might want to take a peak at Alassea's bio. 'Could explain some things. :bounce:)

Alassea fluttered her silver wings, and followed this person with her eyes. ' Seems a bit small for man..' Her curiousity peaked as she watched this person disapear in the crowd. She waited a while, casting one last glance down at the two men with their game.

(will do...you might want to look at Falathiel's too)

Falathiel had her head down, not making eye contact with anyone. There weren't very many elves in Gondor and she wanted to keep her race unknown. She walked to the edge of the square and approached a white mare. A white wolfess sat at the horse's feet. Anyone looking towards them would think that Falath was obsessed with white! The wolf looked up and almost looked impatient.

Where have you been? Do you know how long you've been gone?

Falathiel rolled her eyes. Calm down Ithilwen. I'm fine and it's not my fault. The shopkeeper wouldn't believe me till I showed him I was the Princess of Lorien

Ithilwen gave a small howl. What? You took off your cape? You could have been seen!

A petite bird fluttered over the rooftops along the street, so swift and small that no one could have seen it, save for the faint glint of silver as it canted one way or another in mid-flight. It landed quietly on a lamp-post, and ruffled it feathers.

The falcon watched the three white creatures who stood in the square intently, nonetheless remaining nonchalant. Thoughts flickered across Alassea's mind, contemplating her next move.

I was wondering if I could join perhaps

*has waist-length dark red hair, pale skin, and blue eyes with ice-blue flames flickering dangerously in them**is wearing black assassin's clothes, along with a black cloak and black soft leather boots**has weapons hidden on her, but you don't get to know where*lol

Is watching the white figures and the bird from a distance, from around a corner. Stares at them intently, her eyes narrowing inside her hood. "How interesting....." She raises one eyebrow slightly, then starts forwards....

Okay, since this is called 'Fickle Fortune', could, perhaps, an assassin sent to kill someone become that someone's friend?... Just wondering...

Of course, everyone is welcome to join, but I'd prefer it if we let the rp flow naturally, so there's no real rule as to what it's about. Obviously, I'm a spy. And.. obviously I'm spying on this paticular being. However, that's something you guess as you read along. So..yeah. You can do whatever, be an assassin etc. Just let it flow.

can I join as well? I'm Falath's older sis.. :bye2:

Elenanna pulled her mare to a stop as she came near her sister. She dismounted, and said, "Sulaid, munthriel." She pulled her hood back slightly and looked at her sister, her silver eyes shining slightly.

The bird had gone from the lamp-post just as soon as it had appeared. A young woman stepped out of a shop, folding a piece of parchment, and attached it to another bird, this one being quite larger, and black.

After sending it off, she made her way to a bench beneath the shade of an elm, not too far off from white-cloaked figure.

-I suppose if all are welcome...may as well give it a shot, right?-

She gazed solemnly from the the roof of the nigh dilapidated building, watching the bird flit across the street. She had nearly lost it, and all she could do now was hope that it was as she suspected; if this was the one she had been searching for, then by Illuvatar she would not lose it again...
She sighed, and pulling her cloak nearer to her body, slid back down the wall. She looked upon her bow in disgust, before replacing it on her back and continuing down the street.

She watches the white figures intently. "Finally... My target..." She grins, and a blade slips from its sheath on her forearm into her hand as she starts forwards.

Elenanna looked past her sister and her eyes widened slightly. Elenanna was dressed in a red cloak, that being the trademark color of Marchwardens, so her cloak contrasted with the color of her sister's cloak. Her hand went to the dagger that hung off her belt.

Amoniel slipped into Gondor's crowd. She was good at disappearing. Her light blonde hair reflected in the sun, but was quickly dullened by a passing cloud. Amoniels green eyes flashed. She had spotted the 'someone' she was looking for. The person was near the elm trees. Slowly she made her way over, taking cautious steps.

Alassea looked up from a book that she had been pretending to read for the past fifteen minutes, and saw the glint of two blades that had been drawn.

' Bloody assassins..'

She dropped the book and unsheathed one of her twin swords, running through the crowd at an alarming speed--enough to draw some attention-- and stood next to the woman in the red cloak.

As she spoke to the sisters, she pulled down her hood, leveling her sword at chest-height to Luinnar, " Forgive me, my ladies, but you must leave. Meet me outside the city, and I will explain everything, but please, make haste."
