Alexandra stopped by a small lake to rest after a long time of walking she knew this was where she would camp so she pulled her tent out of her saddlebag and pitched it luckily the tent had a floor so she put her blanket inside and made a fire with some twigs she had left over from last night's fire

Deawen wasn't riding she had just woken up she like to travel at night she walked slowly her dog and horse at her heels the ferrets hanging across her sholders chewing on her strap. " ey stop that you rodents" she laughed and put them in a fold of her tunic her horse nickered " what?" she asked. her horse tossed his head forward she looked ahead she saw a fire. she left her horse and crept ahead. she saw a younger girl sitting by her fire. Deawen drew a dagger just in case.
