Post subject:  Strange Faces and Dark Places: Beginning!
~ShatteredHeart~ used to have an old RPG called "Strange Faces and Dark Places" but after a page or two, it fell apart and no one posted there. I'm hoping that we can re start the RP, but with the same plot idea...

Got room for an elf?

Name: Meleth Elenwen (Beloved Star Maiden)
Gender: Female.
Age: Not known exactly.
Race: Elven
Appearance: Tall, like most elves, with long straight bright silver hair. Black eyes. Not unusually pretty for an elf, just normal.
History: Meleth's family died in an orc raid when she was small. She carries the grief of their loss with her still and the pain of it has driven her away from her home. She wanders mostly, never having found anywhere to call much of a home.
Personality: Can be snappish. Always secretive, never very friendly to anyone she doesn't know. She cares intensely about the few people she loves.
Weapons: Bow and arrows predominantly. She also carries a few small, hidden daggers for emergencies.

Appearance: Tall, Rugged, Brown eyes, Long Brown scraggly hair, Lots of stubble, good Looking for a man.
History: Raised everywhere, predominately with elves. Excellent swordsman, few have, or can defeat him, and has deadly aim with his bow.
Personality: Easy going, funny, highly intelligent but has a dark history.
Weapons: A Numenorean 2 handed broadsword, Elvish Longbow from Lothlorien, and one hunting knife, used for throwing and food.
Armor: Hard durable leather, greaves, vambraces and shoulder plates, all of folded steel emblazoned with the White Tree of Gondor. Under his Leather Jerkin, there is a chain mail suit of Mithril. In Massive Battles, He puts on Gondorian Plate armor and his mithril Chainmail.

Eyes: a deep tone of green speckeled with bright gold
Looks:
Very pale and very tall. A wonderful figure and slim toned limbs.
Other to 'Appearance' : wears a gold collar around her neck, as a sign of slavery. The gold shows she is a) worth a lot to her owner and b) her owner is very rich.

Powers : If any, that of tracking silently
Weapon:
A beautiful black bow with an intercate silver pattern of vines on it. The arrows are long and have black swann feathers. The quiver is also black with the silver silver outlines of
a dragon on.
Other to 'Weapons' : Her weapons are the only remanents of her past.


Personality: Proud, gentel (usually), sad, thoughtfull
History : Is forbidden by her master to speak of it.

Looks: A rugged travelerdressed in a black ragged cloak with a black tunic underneath he is often confused for working for the Dark Lord but it's not so. he has a cross shaped scar on his right cheek. .

Powers : no one knows...
Weapon: he has a huge steel blade.. the hilt is made of dragon scales..

((We're starting now ;-) ))

A small band of Humans and Elves made their way across the plains on horseback. There were 7. 7 heading for Gondor.

They decided to stop for the night on the borders of Fangorn Forest. They gathered wood and started a fire.

Aramel walked over towards the young girl of Rohan. "Mara, take some rest."

She sighed. "I can't. I can't help thinking we're going to be ambushed by Orcs or something worse..."

"Don't worry," Aramel replied. "We're going to be fine." Mara laid her head down to rest and the Elf sighed. "I hope," she added before turning to the others.

Appearance:Long blonde hair, green eyes. Short (5'2"), slender and petite.
Personality:Fiery and tenacious, she is rather haughty and proud, but is very brave, loyal, and kind, if she doesn't always show it.
History:The grand daughter of a great Dunedain, Vanessë was orphaned at a young age but taken under Celebrian's wing and raised in Rivendell. Sadly, she was doted on and developed a rather self-righteous attitude, but is fiercely loyal to those she loves. She was crushed when Celebrian chose to leave M-E, and now travels often between Lorien and Rivendell.
