I'm not going to name myself, because I don't want funny pictures of me in oversized Prada sunglasses in the 'Star Tracks' page of People on Friday afternoon--but I'll tell you briefly that I have one of the hardest jobs in the entire country, or maybe the world.

I grew up with the silver spoon in my mouth, living on Amanda Avenue, eating at Chi, partying at the Spider Room, and getting my picture taken every waking moment. My first credit card was in my hands at twelve--a platinum Amex. The sky was the limit, and down-to-earth was just not an option. Haven't you heard? My middle name is practically Dolce, or perhaps Gabbana...

so many nights she was out 'till dawn
it's never good to be down this long...

What makes me really bitter, though?
They... have no clue how our lives are lived.
Who's they, you want to know? Our parents. The producers of the movies we star in. The casting execs of the go-sees we're options in. You. Yeah, you--the little preppy thirteen year old from northern Cali. I know you and I know your stereotype... you want to be me.
But you're wrong.
Do you want to live your life in a fishbowl? Do you want to be addicted to sleeping pills and speed just so that your movie company can put out the newest cheesy family blockbuster? You don't know me--don't pretend.
