"Oh c'mon! When you dissapeared, the necklace you had dissapeared with you! So you have to have it!" Louy stomped away, putting her necklace around her neck. She sat down with a sharp sigh, and crossed her arms, appitite gone, which was rare for her, 'cause she was known to be able to eat like a horse...

Blaine looked longingly at the food and then his gaze shifted to Louy sitting away from the others, not eating. He knew that she was very upset about the fact that Melody didn't remember her. She had to be even more upset than he was by Garret not remembering him. She and Melody had been best friends.
While, he wasn't one who usually gave up the chance to eat, Louy was one of his close friends. He walked over to her and sat down. "Hey," he said, nudging her playfully, "Cheer up. I'm sure all this will be sorted out. There's got to be a logical explanation." He gave her an optimistic smile.
---
Elle followed the others into the kitchen. She cast a look over her shoulder back at the dragons. They were so beautiful, so majestic. She wished that she had the courage to get close to one of them, to touch one of the mythical creatures.
She sat down at the table with the others to eat. "This is all so strange," she commented to no one in particular, "Why did we get brought here?" Everything that happened in the cave after they saw Kesthir was a blur in her memory. She looked around at the others, especially Melody and Garret, wondering if they might know something.

Louy smiled, but it was obviously not a real smile.
"I'll try. This is all too strange. If this isn't real, it's teatering between dream and nightmare. Though it feels too real to be a dream. Usually my dreams are blurry..." she relized she was rambling and stopped.
"What do you make of all this, Blaine?"

The table was long and beautiful and duly supplied: just like the rest of this house.
And Conrad was beginning to feel that this surreal dream, as strange as it was, wasn't really a dream at all. It made him feel insecure. Here they were, stuck in a world they didn't know, and he had absolutely no one to help him. Of course, alone was probably better- seeing as he didn't have an idiot friend to slow him down in case he needed to run.
He sat at the table, but refused every food that was passed to him. He was in his sullen shell, and felt more alone and threatened by this group of intelligent kids. If anyone spoke to him he recoiled, and merely muttered a brief answer.

After a few minutes, but definatily not before everyone had finished his or her fill, the black dragon, Nate, quickly strode into the room, followed in turn by his brother.
"Suirg thgar. Well met." Nate said.
"Our father has bid us to come and tell you why you are here." Etan added.
"There is an evil in Esceriol - Maraxan." Nate said.
"He is a great mage, possibly as great as our father, but he is sided with the dark." Etan said.
"He also knows how to travel from world to world, like our father." Nate said. The two of them continued on switching on and off as they spoke - A rather annoying habit of gemini twins.
"And, as of late, he has discovered another world, Zviun, full of evil, treatury, and malicious beasts."
"And lots of water. It is constanly raining there."
"And to make things even worse, Maraxan has decided that it would humor him to mix our worlds together, forever biding them into a horrific land of evil." They surveyed those their with a wise look,
"He must be destroyed before this happens, or sacrifice hundreds of thousands of lives." Nate announced, and in a soft murmur, his brother added,
"And worlds."

Ciaran stared at the two dragons, he head swiveling back and forth as they took turns speaking. When they finished, he jumped up from his chair.
"Look," he said, "I don't know anything about these 'worlds' you keep talking about, and frankly, I don't see what it has to do with us. I mean, why did your father bring us here? We're bloody high school students! If this- dark mage and your father are equal in power, why can't he take him on?"
Ciaran abruptly fell silent and sat down, his cheeks burning. He hadn't meant to go off like that, but everything that had happened since the tunnel had been building up inside him, until he felt like he had to get it out.
"Sorry." he said to the dragons. "I'll just shut up." he managed an embarassed grin.

Merry's emotions amounted to the exact opposite of everything Ciaran had just expressed. "Well, tell us what to do, then," she said, propping her elbows on the table with an utter disregard for manners. These were dragons, after all, what did they care?
The wealth of books with dragons Merry had read amounted to absolutely nothing compared to seeing the real thing. She had a sneaking suspicion that she would have done practically anything any of the three dragons asked. "If it's as bad as you say we should really get started," she added.

Etan, nodding at Merry, replied.
"Yes. We will get to that, but in due time. For the next few days you will rest and become at least a little adapted to Vesthian, and will then hold a meeting, men, dragons, dwarves, elves, and fairies alike. You will be joining us." Nate, turning towards Ciaran, nodded in understanding.
"Peace. It is well. And we will make the connection between worlds clear at the meeting. In the meantime, all you need known is that you were all chosen for your expertice, your quick minds, and your youthful open minds. And, even our father cannot take on Maraxan alone." He looked upwards, where an open skylight let in a good amount of sunlight, and spread his wings with a dragon smile on his mouth, and a twinkle in his eye.
"And before I forget, you all begin dracofal training tomarrow. It is important to learn stratagy and safety. In a domestic invironment." With that, he launched upwards and spiraled out of the tall room. Etan, spreading his wings aswell added:
"My brother and I expect you at 10:30 tomarrow morning. Do not be late." He then followed his twin out of the building.

Arielle resisted the urge to laugh. Elves? Fairies? She had seen the dragon, yes, but it still seemed to ridiculous to believe. She shook her head sadly, still faintly hoping that it would all go away. The rational part of her mind, though, told her that she should snap out of it and rest for tomorrow.

Although Conrad said nothing, his silence said a lot. His arms were folded across his chest in an attitude of defiance, and his gaze boldly declared "Just make me do anything." He didn't have the slightest idea WHERE they were, but he did know he wasn't about to go gallivanting off into the wild blue yonder without some pretty darn good explanations.
He was shocked at the other students enthusiasm. These kids were supposed to be smart? Then why weren't they acting it?

Lily watched the Dragons go; she was happy to be doing something worthwhile. Looking at the delicious food, Lily took a good amount and began to eat.
