This takes place during an A-Uish modern times. The Iraqis and the Americans are fighting the war still, but the war is on American soil. So the children are sent all over the world to escape the terrorism. Four of these children- grandchildren of the Pevensie family, are sent to the Professor's old mansion-which is now owned by his descendant.

((this is happening if the end of the book when the Professor tells Lucy she can't go back the way she came didn't occur..))
