"S-she seemed...at...peace...that is...the closest...I can say...for she seemed...both happy and content...and yet sad at the same...time," Calista remarked, not sure how to describe the feelings she felt coming from the woman. "S-she loves...you...deeply...I could feel her love...radiating...from her. And...and I know...she wishes...she could have...had more time...with you..." she whispered before drawing in a deep breath. "A-all she wanted...was for you...to be...happy..."

Weakly wrapping her arms around Gareth, she lightly rubbed his back, feeling her heart break at the pain he had to endure. "I am sorry...for...the both...of you..." she whispered. "You're...time...together shouldn't have...ended so soon..." she added, knowing that they had been robbed of so much. She would never try to take Catalina's place in Gareth's heart, knowing how much the woman meant to him, but she did want to try and ease the pain he felt as much as possible. "I know...I can never take her place...nor will I try to...but I want...to help you heal...as much as I can..." Calista whispered. "You...should...know...that Catalina...urged me to return...to you..."
