Rising from the bed, Gareth quickly made his way over to the fireplace and rekindled the fire before heating a cloth. Once finished, the mage quickly walked over to the woman that lay in agony on the bed.
"I'm sorry," Calista panted trying to mask all discomfort that she felt.
"Shhh, just breathe and relax," Gareth whispered as he placed the cloth on her stomach before leaning over to press a kiss to her damp forehead.

"Ro, don't exert yourself for my sake," Darius told her softly. "You need to take care of yourself too," he whispered to her before kissing her once again.

Closing her eyes, Calista just tried to take in deep slow breaths. The heat from the cloth helped to ease the spasms, allowing the woman to calm down a bit. "Thank you," Calista murmured as she opened her eyes. Nodding in acknowledgement, Gareth leaned over her once more and kissed her lightly on the lips. Smiling at his lips against hers, Calista returned his kiss with a gentle one of her own. "Now please, mind me when I tell you things," Gareth whispered to her as he pulled back. "Your body is telling you that you are still too weak to be pushing yourself too far. You've only recently awoken after being unconscious for several days and then promptly suffered a concussion. You need to rest, Rose...before your injuries become much worse."

Darius sighed and shook his head, knowing that Rosalina would not listen to him. "Ro I really wish you would just stay here," he whispered. "I don't want you getting hurt again."

"I will try," Calista whispered weakly. "But I just can't help it. I want to be able to help Rosalina and Darius instead of being confined to my bed."
"You can help them all you want once you are well," Gareth whispered. "But until then you are going to take it easy and let me take care of you," he added the last part with a mischievous smirk.

Sighing to himself, Darius could only pray that Rosalina would be all right.

"Gareth!" Calista exclaimed weakly in protest, a small smirk on her face. "You need to rest too," she remarked in all seriousness. "I can't have you waiting upon me. For I am not the daughter of a lord."
"That maybe so. But nevertheless, you are my lady and both queen and mistress of my heart---and I will treat you as such," Gareth replied with another mischievous smile.

Rosalina went out after donning her cloak and getting a bag. It was true her eye sight was healing, but it was still blurred, and everything looked the same, so she slowly went to the trees and path, looking on the ground for herbs and other plants she knew would help.

Staring up at the ceiling, already bored out of his mind, Darius wished he could just roam about as he used to. "Ro, my love, just be safe," he thought to himself.

Blushing slightly at his words, Calista could feel herself succumbing to the mage's charms. "You are a dangerous one," she whispered weakly. "A girl could lose herself to your charms," she teased with a wan smile.
"Perhaps," Gareth whispered as he leaned close to her. "But there is only one woman that I want to charm," he whispered in ear before tracing kisses along her neck.

After some time, Rosalina smiled at her full bag and turned to return. Only problem was, she had become turned around, and the day was getting colder.

Lying in bed, Darius began to toss and turn as worry continued to gnaw at his stomach. Rosalina had not yet returned and he couldn't help but be worried for her safety.

After some mild physical banter, which basically amounted to Gareth tracing warm kisses up Calista's neck while the maiden blushed and giggled in glee before she kissed Gareth full on the lips and then traced warm kisses along his jaw and neck, Calista found herself worn out and in need of a rest. Sleeping peacefully in the arms of her love, a soft smile traced the young woman's lips as her she had blissful dreams of her mage.

Rosalina wandered, cursing herself for becoming lost. The cold started to naw at her, making her cough. After almost an hour she saw the house and hurred back.

Growing impatient, Darius attempted to sit up in bed once more, planning to go outside to search for Rosalina if he had to.

Stirring slightly in her sleep, Calista sighed contentedly before her eyes slowly fluttered open. Smiling when she saw Gareth gazing down on her, she drowsily raised her head to kiss him lightly on the lips.
"Was I asleep long?" she whispered, sleep still hanging on her voice.
"About two hours," Gareth remarked with a slight smile as he gently brushed some of her blonde hair away from her face. Even though she was still half-asleep he found her utterly beautiful and only felt his love for her grow.
