Rory veered out of the forest and into the shallow creek that ran along side it. The water splashed in his and his horses face,but now he could see where he was going.
He had to collect the mare's steps so that she wouldn't slip but he still managed to go just as fast.
Suddenly Rory stopped and looked around him.
" This way," he said turning directly to the right, out of the creek and onto the start of a deer trail.

Susie turned after Rory hoping we wouldn't get lost but she trusted Rory.

Annalett went behind the group, going at a quick canter, not wanting to jostle the child. She followed, noting every way they went, and with a good sence of direction, always knew in what direction they were going. The deer path was hard to navigate. They weren't ment for people on horses, so there were branches that occasianally were in the way...

Susie halted and went back to Annalett and said ,"if you ever needhelp with the child just ask;also what have you named him or have you named him?"

"I've named his Lughir, or dragon master, after my father." she said, then said in a whisper so only Susie could hear.
"He reminds me of the son I had five years back, killed as a baby in a raid like the one at the town. Thats why I feel so... connected to him." then she went back to talking normally.
"Giving him up to someone at the town will be better for him. It's not good for an infant to travel so much. Plus it's a load to the travelers..."

"oh that's so sad",susie said affectionately "I'm sorry for your loss".

once gavin got on Lanie's horse. she sped up to the others. she over heard Annalett and susie talking. she couldn't help but remember her own child that she lost at child birth....she had no husband. the birth was kept a secret. her Father died apone hearing the news that Lanie was pregnat. the only way Lanie could keep everything that had happen within the last few months, was to keep busy helping Rory. and being there and helping out with the rebelion.

" Hurry up!" Rory turned the mare around in a wide ark and brought up the rear.
" We have to be fast if we want to comfort of an Inn the next city is far,"
With that he popped the horse without the baby on the butt to urge it towards the other's
" Hurry," he uttered with overly alert eyes.
He them used the ends of his reins to pop the mare on the stomach, chest, and back to drive her back up to the front.

( No I did that to Helena's horse. I have a feeling Rory and Lanie are more friendly enough to not beat each others horses while their on them.)

Gavin rode behind Lanie, holding onto the back of the saddle. "Thank you." he said.

Lanie smiled. after a few mins she spoke to the man. " thank you for telling us about this inn, and the town. by the way...i'm lanie."

As Rory returned to the front of the group, Will grinned. "So you agree we have to hurry? We should.. If Rosco hears some stood up to him, he'll definately organise search parties. That man is capable of everything.." he said grim. He patted Pyrois in the neck and whispered a few words in his ears so but the steed had no difficulty with keeping up the pace.

My horse ma be agile and fast as the king racehorses, but his knight's horses could be faster than all of our if they wanted to be," Rory again slapped his reins on the mare's sides and yelled out to her. This seemed to make her want to keep going. She sped up reaching ever farther with her black legs and kept her footing on the rocks
