Portia sighed and cleared her throat. "Yeah... Gibbs is me first mate. He asked fer the job, when we thought ye... well... ye know." She slowly stood up. "The thing that amazes me tha most... is how well that compass of yours works." She looked back to him, while pacing. "It's amazing."

Jack smirked, but this time it was the real thing. "Aye, my compass works just fine after all eh?" His eyes didn't follow her pacing, they were now looking downwards staring towards the ground.

Portia laughed a little and nodded. "Yeah... it's what helped me save ye. Everyone thought I was crazy fer using that thing... I knew that it worked from tha beginning, mate." She watched him closely and sighed.

Portia sighed and leaned against her desk. "I don't know where it is, mate. But... I do know that it is not with Davey Jones!" She pointed her finger to the ceiling, as if she felt smart. She grabbed herself a glass and poured rum into it. She downed the whole thing in one gulp and set it back down on the desk.
"Just what were ye plannin' on doin' wit it, Jack?"

Will watched the clouds move slowly above him. He watched as 2 seagulls soared across he bright blue sky. He stood at the mast looking straight ahead in the direction he was heading toward. He missed Jack terribly.....he knew Tia Dalma had told him to set sail, but he didn't feel like he would ever see Jack again. How could he? Jack was dead.....but he continued on anyway.
In the distance, he could see a small shape of land...of something like that of an island. "That must be it," Will said to himself.
As he was sailing along, he saw the sails of another ship off to the right of him. He raised an eyebrow....for it was fairly odd to find a ship way off coarse out here. He then turned the mast into the direction of the ship. "I wonder if they're stranded," Will said to himself.

((not sure what Bootstrap is supposed to be doing... so enjoy this nice, random post.  ))
somewhere in the ocean on Davy Jones' ship...
Bootstrap Bill Turner was at his appointed task on the ship. he would be on this ship a long time, for always and forever. he worked all the while pondering what he would be doing now if he had never come to the Caribbean. he pondered what his life would be like, surely anything other then what he was forced to do now would be better. he had been having these thoughts for days, maybe weeks, or months. he had lost track of time a long time ago. he let out a sigh, he needed to foucus on the work before him. or his back would be feeling it in a minute.
((sorry if its really random, i have no idea what i'm supposed to post.))
