"All right, love. Let me go and find the mage," Darius whispered before kissing Rosalina lightly on the lips before leaving the room. Walking slowly to Calista's room, Darius merely knocked at the door.

Hearing the knock, Calista turned her attention to the door as Gareth pressed a kiss to her forehead before rising to answer the knock. Opening the door, Gareth merely waited for Darius to speak. "Rosalina's awake..." Darius began.
"That's wonderful!" Calista exclaimed as she tottered toward them and Gareth shot her a stern look for getting out of bed as he wrapped an arm around her to support her.
"But she wants to know Gareth, is the baby still alive?"
Gareth sighed and could only nod. "I could still feel the child's life-force," he remarked softly. Sighing, Darius merely nodded before thanking the mage and leaving Gareth and Calista alone.
Walking back to the guestroom, he could only sigh and pray that Rosalina would take the news well.

Rosalina turned her head to look as darius as he returned. "Sooo . . . . . " She asked, the movment of turnign her head and talking draining her again.

Darius could only give Rosalina a weak smile as he took her hand in his. "The child is still alive," Darius whispered softly. "I'm sorry," he whispered, hoping that she would be strong enough to handle the news.

"Then will you rest?" he asked her.

Darius breathed a sigh of relief at Rosalina's words. "You truly are a brave woman, my love," he remarked before kissing her lightly on the lips. Now if he could be just as brave and accept this child, perhaps things would be much easier on them all.

"All right," Gareth remarked with a sigh. "But as soon as you tire, you are resting, understand?" the mage added sternly.
"Understood," Calista remarked with a small smile as Gareth picked her up and carried her over to Rosalina's room.

Taking her hand in, Darius pressed a kiss to Rosalina's knuckles. "My love, just rest. You need to keep up your strength," Darius whispered.

A moment later, Gareth entered the room with Calista in his arms.
"What-?" Darius started to ask the couple. "Calista wanted to check up on Rosalina herself," Gareth remarked before turning to the woman and giving her a small smile. "I am relieved to see you awake," he remarked softly.
"Rosalina!!!" Calista exclaimed, tears of joy in her eyes. "Thank heavens, you awoke. I was so worried about you!" she added as Gareth set her down at Rosalina's bedside.

Rosalina smiled at Calista weakly. "Now . . . you . . know how . . we. . . felt. . . " She tried to jest but closed her eyes, she was so tired. the talking wasn't helping. She turned onto her side and started to cough.

Calista forced a chuckle at Rosalina's jest but all laughter died on her lips as the woman started to cough. "Rosalina!" Calista cried, her voice filled with worry.
Immediately Gareth began to squeeze the juice for some herbal berries into a cup and then handed the decanter to Darius. "See if she will be able to drink this," he said softly.
"My love, I am going to need you to try and drink this," he whispered softly as he lifted her gently and held the cup to her lips.

Giving her a small smile, Darius leaned forward to press a gentle kiss to her cheek. "Shh, Ro," he whispered. "Just rest and recover your strength."

Remaining silent at Rosalina's bedside, Calista could only with that her friend could have been spared all of this. Coming to stand behind her, Gareth lightly placed a hand on her shoulder as if knowing what she was thinking.

Giving Rosalina a small smile, Darius lightly brushed some dark strands of hair back from her face before pressing a gentle kiss to her forehead, wanting her to just get some sleep.

Meanwhile, Gareth had gently began to massage Calista's neck and shoulders, knowing that she was tense with worry. Sighing softly, Calista let her head drop forward as Gareth expertly worked out the knots. "Thank you," Calista murmured softly, his gentle massage slowly lulling her to sleep.

Darius just breathed a sigh of relief that Rosalina was resting peacefully. He could only hope things remained as such.

Seeing Calista start to doze, Gareth finally stopped massaging her and knelt beside her to whisper in her ear. "You should get some rest. Rosalina is alive and well," he told her softly. Nodding her assent, although she really did not want to rest, Calista thought it best not to argue with the mage, especially since she promised to take it easy once they checked up on Rosalina.
