Luth rolled her eyes as the Big 3 entered the class, making a royal ruckus as usual. Despite the distractions, she managed to write the notes and get her first assignment started for tomorrow. Once the bell rang, she gathered up her books and began stuffing her book bag, chatting away to Raven and Melda.

"...so it sounds like they're having another party tonight, eh?" She lapsed into her typically Canadian accent when she was annoyed, "I feel sorry you're in their building Rav, how on earth do you get any sleep?"

The three girls headed out into the hall, and Luth waved at Ellie with a smile. Seems he was caught by the Big 3 too. Gee, they were on a roll today.

Luth grinned at Ellie's catch. "Thanks luv." She grabbed a seat and pulled out her math book, trying not to think of all the headaches it would create for her. "You wouldn't believe how horrible my partner was last year. At least now they let us pick who we like. With my hatred of all thing mathematical, I need someone who can actually explain it to me." She gave Ellie a sidelong glance, "You wouldn't happen to be promised to anyone, hm?"

Melda paused to readjust her stack of books and hurried after Luthien. She looked annoyed.
Muttering as she sat down,"I hate math," she got out her textbook and looked at it gloomily. "Does anyone else find it depressing how the math book always looks so thick at the beginning of the year?" she said out loud to no one in particular. "I do."

Blearily following after Luth, Ellie, and Melda to the next classroom, Raven sat down and plopped her bag on the desktop, then, as she had done in Creative Writing, folded her arms on top of the bag and rested her head on her arms. Hearing Melda's comment, she smiled a bit wryly. "I certainly do.." she muttered, her thick Southern accent suddenly coming out.

Luth frowned as the letters and numbers began to fill out the board. "No, I haven't actually. My best guess is he hasn't gotten back from hols yet. I do hope he is coming back, I don't know what I'd do if he doesn't!" The teacher gave her a stern look, and she dropped her voice even lower, "If you could give me some help with maths, I'd be in your debt."

'And would the Dentist's surgery be in the Coffee shop, and did scarlett storm have bad teeth too. No, i think not! Detention, tonight, both of you. I can't miss, I'm already in Creative Writing detention... i can do next friday... but i'm afraid i'm fully booked until then' she said, looking at an imaginary diary, she then turned and winked at the class.
'Denention, both of you, next firday, 7.00 pm MY OFFICE! understand?'
