Cindy looked around as she walked into the Great Hall. She walked over to the Gryffindor table and sat down, putting her purse/bag on the table, and glancing for a moment at the Ravenclaw table.

Having deposited his owl in his dormitory, Nick came down to dinner slightly late and slid in at the end of the Ravenclaw table to await the food. He waved at Cindy, one table over, and felt his stomach grumble.

Harry felt his stomach growl as the Great Hall filled up with students. He was anxious to hear Dumbledore's speech. He didn't know if he was going to say anything more about Voldemort.

Ron sat next to harry and waited for the feast to begin and the sorting to be over. His stomach gave a loud growl and he clutched it, half-embarressed.

Once the sorting was over and all the new first years were seated at the house tables, the tables maigcally filled with food. Harry grinned and piled a ton of food on his plate.

Harry took a big bite of a drumstick and a swig of his Pumpkin juice. "This is why I lvoe coming back to Hogwarts." Harry said, very contently. He looked around the Hall. People were laughing and talking and having a great time. He wondered how they could be so happy when Voldemort was a growing threat. He dare not say anything to dampen the mood.
