"We cannot linger," Orindil said sharply, scanning the skies for the telltale winged minions of Okandar. His next words sent a twang of guilt through his own conscience, but he proceeded on harshly, "Perhaps we can rescue them later, but if we stay his will consume all. Quickly. Follow me."

He strung an arrow to his ashbow and set a rapid pace down the dark street. He turned, determining if they would follow.

Naidele stomped her foot in frustration. At that point she didn't care if she looked childish. She was torn. She couldn't just leave her sisters to the mercy of Okandar. But then if they didn't leave all could be lost. She ran her fingers back through her thick red curls, and let out a sigh of anger and helplessness. Where were they? "But... but what will happen to them if we leave?" she replied. She was close to bursting out crying. Tears of frustration were filling her big green eyes. She willed them not to fall. She was no longer a child, and she had to be strong.

(Has anyone seen Aramel Elyanwe around here lately? Cause aside from her bio, she hasn't posted at all.)

((Aramel's usually not able to get on during the week hardly at all, so she'll likely post on Friday))

Nakaida hesitated, and glanced at Naidele. She wanted to follow Orindil, she wanted to quite badly, but the thought of abandoning her other two sisters made her cringe. "But...what about Alayna?" she said, echoing her sister, and taking a step in the elf's direction. "And Silvanna, and Meliora? We can't just leave them..."

((AAAAAH!!!! So far behind!!!! *slaps self in head* OI! YOU! SELF! *goes cross-eyed, trying to talk to self* PUT DOWN THE BOOK AND GET BACK TO RPGS! lol))

Khienro looked very rushed, yet determined. Rolling his head in fierce undecision, he glanced from the girls to Orindil. He repeated this course of action many times before he counted their chances agaist the Okandar. Nil. Clenching his jaw tightly, he - more roughly than intended - grabbed Naidele's wrist and pulled her toward Orindil, and looked at Nakaida, expecting her to move as well,

"We havn't the time! The Okandar will be apon us! I don't know if you've calcluated our chances," He looked as if he was stating the obvious, but yet it was bringing doom upon his own face, "We havn't any chances! Go!" He then lightly shoved Naidele and Nakaida in the general direction Orindil was standing in.

(lol)

Naidele gasped as Khienro pulled her over towards Orindil. She was very grateful that he had decided to help them, but she just didn't feel right about leaving her other 3 sisters behind. She was torn with indecision. Leave for somewhere safe and abandon 3 of the people she loved most in the world, or stay and risk ruining the chances of victory. Either way she lost something. A single tear coursed down her cheek as she looked up at Khienro, silently pleading for some type of reassurance.

Khienro looked down at Naidele, and found himself unable to ignore her pitiful, sad, confused face. He clenched his jaw, determinded to get some logic into the situation.

"Come," He said in a gentler, soft tone, "We have to leave. I'm sure your sisters will be fine." ...

Nakaida clenched her teeth. "You're right," she managed, and put an arm around Naidele's shoulders. "Come on, Nai..." she entreated. "Better two of us safe than none."

This, of course, felt like rampant hypocrisy since she was of exactly the same opinion as her sister. But at that moment a winged shadow, quickly gone, passed over her head and she scanned the sky in sudden fearful anticipation. "Come, on, let's go."

Naidele nodded and brushed the tear away, feeling foolish for acting so childish. She quickly hugged Nakaida, and then they all began to follow Orindil. She still could not bear the thought of leaving her sisters to Okandar's mercy, but what choice did they have? "We need horses," she said suddenly, "We cannot go anywhere far fast on foot."

Aeryn looked around in confusion.

"Horses shall be taken care of," Orindil assured them and beckoned them to follow. Fleet footed, he darted from shadow to shadow down the dark street. They wove down a maze of side alleys, all the while headed at a rapid pace for the city wall.

Orindil stopped at the door to an abandoned warehouse stationed right at the city wall. He pushed it open, revealing rusty crates and empty sacks. He began feeling along the wall for the loose brick.

((I'm a bit confused, but will do as best I can.))

Khienro then quickly jogged back over to his shop, and took his horse, Sparkburn, back to where the ladies were standing. The horses unusuall, and non-creative name was divised from the brand-like burn it hat on its shoulder, leaving the skin revealed through the speckled brown coat.

"I have one horse..." Khienro said, looking after Orindil, wondering how many he would get...

((Actually, we're currently with Orindil taking some secret way out of the city, I think. Maybe you want to follow us there with your horse?))

Aeryn looked around for his horse and finally found her. "There you are, girl."

((Ok.. lol, I warned you I was confused...))

Khienro took Sparkburn's reins and lead him, behind Orindil, trying to keep him as quiet as he could, without much success...

Aeryn followed beside Khienro, also quietly...or not so quietly.
