Walking back to the bedside, the healer frowned as he lightly placed the back of his hand over Calista's forehead and felt the unusual heat coming from her skin. Realizing that her fever was becoming worse, he quickly soaked another cloth and gently started to dab the woman's clammy skin with the cool water, growing all the more concerned as she displayed no reaction to the damp rag.
