Lisa stayed back, and wiped a tear back viciously. She knew better than this, ME didn't exist... none of the characters did... neither did Gandalf magic...

"That's it!" she almost shouted, eyeing Gandalf. "Prove you ARE Gandalf the Grey, c'mon, do some magic!"

"You do not believe I am Gandalf the Grey? You want me to do magic do you?" Gandalf straightened up, and the room grew suddenly darker, and he looked daunting, like he had before Bilbo left for Rivendell in FotR.

AJ looked around, a bit creeped out. When the lights went back to normal, she relaxed a little.
"Cool," she said...

"Well thats interesting, to be sure, but how do we know that your not just... playing with the lights or something?"

"Yeah!" agreed Lisa. She had been a little freaked out when it got dark, but... that could be anything.

She continued staring at Legolas... and finally got enough courage to blurt out, "Those are fake ears if I ever saw them!"

AJ thought for awhile, then dug into her bag and brought out a book, with a cover that hid the title on it, then walked over to Legolas.
"Gîl síla erin lû govaded vîn," she said, reading out of the book, which happened to be an elvish prase book, and made sure Legolas couldn't see inside...{A star shines on the hour of our meeting}

Sam stared, confused. "My feet are real!" he said. Gimli was standing in one corner of the room, watching.

"So real that if we pulled on them a fake foot wouldn't come off?" Colette said with a glance at Sam's feet. Now that she looked, they did look awfully real...

Sam looked even more confused, but thrust one foot forward. "Try it if you want!" he said.

Colette poked his foot. It felt real. She pulled one of his toes. Nothing happened.
"Um, okay, they're real, but, uh, you're still just playing a prank."
She looked nervously at everyone else and mouthed His feet aren't fake, they're real!

Sam put his foot back down. "Beggin' your pardon, but what do you mean by a prank?" he asked.
Autumn considered fainting, but decided against it. After all, someone who looked an awful lot like Billy Boyd was standing in the living room.

Boromir looked from one person to another and he couldn't think of any idea why the girl would tug on a Halfing's toe. He said, "Yes, do explain this situation."
