He cupped her jaw with his hand and leaned in, meeting her lips on the way. His dark kohl-rimmed eyes closed and he fingered her hair with his other hand. He continued to kiss, sometimes kissing was even better than rum itself...

The inward Devina had split into two differant people; the Devina who was in hysterics that she was kissing the man, who on their last meeting, she had nearly killed; And the newer Devina, who was in fact a good deal kinder, smiling satisfied from the corner.
She smiled softly against his lips and saw him shut his dark eyes, and closed her own.

Portia was through looking at the ships. She couldn't beat herself up because she wasn't on Jack's crew anymore. She sighed and walked back toward the pub. She knew that her shift wasn't over and she couldn't just leave. She was walking slow and seeming a little upset.
She slowly looked up from the ground and then she spotted something she never expected to see. Something she never WANTED to see. Jack and Devina. Kissing each other. She stared at them for what seemed like the longest time.

Portia heard Devina and then shook her head. "Just go ahead." She snapped and then quickly ran to the pub. She was embarrased and upset at the event that had just occured.

Jack watched Portia walk away into the distance, her figure slowly gliding away into the moonlight. So, it was her in the pub then..funny she's a waitress.. Jack grinned at his own thought.
Slowly, his head turned back around to look at Devina's face. "Now, where were we?"

Portia made it to the pub, but didn't go inside. She took deep breaths, trying to calm herself down. But, it was to no avail. She slowly closed her eyes and leaned against the wall of the pub. Her heart was pounding and her adrenaline was beyond where it should've been. She swallowed hard and choked back her tears.

Jack fingered his facial hair out of habit, and he felt his eyebrows bend low. "Yer right, I'm supposed to be on 'er side...not yers..."
He sat for a few moments, thinking good and hard about this one till at once his eyes snapped open, "But ye know what I'm good with it so pucker back up!" A grin took over his face.

Jack bowed graciously and took a step away from Devina. "Yer wish is my command love.." his eyes scintillated with mischief as he saunted away towards the pub, but not before turning back around to wink at her..
