Sighing to himself, Gareth pressed a light kiss to Calista's forehead before gently laying her on the bed. "Hold on, my love. I will return shortly," he whispered before brushing a strand of blonde hair back from her face and lightly caressing her cheek. "Let me see him," Gareth finally remarked as he straightened and followed Rosalina outside, praying that he was not making a mistake by leaving Calista alone.

Grimacing slightly as he saw Darius choking on his own blood, Gareth quickly turned the man on his side to hopefully dislodge the blood from his throat.

"I don't know," Gareth remarked quietly as the blood trickled from Darius' throat. "It may happen for awhile due to the fact that his body is still weak from the poison," Gareth remarked. A few minutes later, Darius stopped convulsing and he went limp on the ground.

Scanning Darius over, Gareth could tell that blood was still lodged in the man's throat. Quickly turning him on his back, he pushed upward on his stomach, managing to force the remainder of the blood from his throat before checking the man's vitals.

Rosalina didn't know what to do. Her cough got bad if she didn't sleep, and she didn't sleep because Darius was ill. But he was ill cause she would caough.

Gareth just continued to perform mouth to mouth on Darius, breathing a small sigh of relief when the man coughed and his breathing grew slightly stronger.
