Kira had to drive for about 15-20 minutes in order to reach the internship. Driving up to the place, she performed her routine parallel parking job, locking the car, and placing the wheel mobilizer on. She franctically grabbed her purse and binder and hopped out of the car to approach the door. Kira shook out her hair and walked into the building. "Alright, I'm here," she yelled out to the air, "and sorry I am late. Evil history teacher held us in class longer than expected and traffic was, once again, horrible."

OOC: Both Ben and Riley should be in the building. Abagail could or could not be there, even though I would more hint at yes. So, Riley should probably have some introduction as he would welcome Kira in.

(Ok.. I have not figured out what exactly the place was called, but she is under an internship. This means that she is working for a place in order to gain experience. When I picture what Ben, Abagail, and Riley would be working on it would be trying to solve secrets to the nations. So, I will have to think of a name, but the place would be almost like an office that collects data and puts it all together.)

Ben sat at his desk, leaning back slightly. He had a red rubber ball that he was bouncing against a bare wall, while his computer next to him on the desk was scanning something. It stopped and beeped. Gate caught his ball, and looked at the screen.
Reason for Titanic's sinking.
That was old news, so he clicked "Continue search" with the mouse. Some days, when Ben didn't feel like looking for information or secrets himself, he let the computer do the work. That's what they were for, anyway, right?
Just then the office door to the NSHF opened and in walked the new recruite, yelling.
"Evil History teacher? Now, you do know that you need that history here," he called back when his computer pinged again.
Kenedy Assasination
This was interesting. Ben turned in his rolling chair and pulled up the file. There was something odd about it. He looked at the date of the assasination, and the place.
"Anyone wonna take a trip to Texas?"

Abigail Chase poked her head into the room, a puzzled look on her face. Her hair was tied back in a messy bun and she was carrying a stack of paperwork on various cases and unsolved problems. "Texas? I'm game, but what would we be working on?" The young woman quickly considered several possible cases, then it hit her. What are most conspiricy theorys in Texas about? Aliens, ghost cowboys, dissappearing cattle or... "It's the Kennedy Assasination isn't it, Ben?"

Kira dropped her bag into a chair. "Kennedy Assaniation," she thought, "that was in Texas, wasn't it?"
Looking down at her paper, Kira skimmed over the requirements once again. It would be perfect, in her mind, for the project.
Ripping off the bottom, where the teacher complained that Kira was one of the students that did not pay attention in her class, Kira bundled up the paper into a wad and scored a 2 points in the nearest trashcan.
"Exactly what about the Kennedy Assination would you want to go to Texas for?" she asked.

You see, if you look on some of the documents, there's this logo. I don't recognize it from any other important papers in history. Could there possibly be something more behind it?"

"Let me see that." Abigail came fully into the room and set the papers she was carrying down on a chair. She walked around the desk and looked over Ben's shoulder at the computer screen. "Yes, that's a strange logo. I've never seen it before anywhere, except..." She rummaged through the papers that she had just set down. "Here, take a look at this." She held out an envelope postmarked recently.

Ben nodded, and took the envelope. He opened it and looked at the paper. There was the emblem of a sword, with a snake wrapped around it with a crown of roses. All was inside a circle of stars.(how about that?)
"This was postmarked recently? But, no return address accept for Texas. This is interesting," he said, "You think we could look up this emblem at the library or internet and see what we can find?"

anyway, so Riley meets her? I think I'm getting the hang of this... this is the first RP I've done out of the PotC world after all so please go easy on me....

I'm afraid poor Riley has missed out a bit while my account has been down! I hope I can make up for lost time! hmmm, since I lost so much where I could've been bringing him in I feel a little lost now...
