the sailor walked back up deck.
Evan put on the clothes as fast as he could and then left his wet clothes in the cell not knowing what else to do with them.
he slowly took the stairs up to the deck and sheilded his eyes as the blinding sun poured onto him. once his eyes ajusted he found his sister.

"Rachel are you okay?" he asked seeing she had changed as well.
Rachel nodded and then hugged her brother. " yeah are you alright?"
he nodded.
"how do yo-" they both said at the same time.
Rachel was the first to talk. " the only thing i can think of is the book...the woman who seems to be the captain of this ship looks exsactly like the one in the picture ,in the book we were reading before we found ourselfs drentched in water."
Evan rubbed the bridge of his nose. " thats impossible rach...that cant be it." he said sighing.
" okay fine, whats your idea?"
Evan shurgged. " i dont have one."
" okay then...lets accept the fact that, my idea is what happend and we need to figure out how to get home."
Evan was a little hesitent(sp). " why dont we check this out a little? come on it might be fun."
Rachel didnt say anything else she was scared but she didnt want to admit it.
Evan sat next to her and watched the sailors do their jobs.

The young crew man who had gotten Rachel a change of cloths looked over and noticed that her brother had come back up on deck. He walked over keeping his eyes dwon except only to glance at her evey once and a while. "Umm ... Excuse me miss ... my name is Silver Moon. I'm sorry about being so ruff with you earlier. I didn't hurt you did I?" He asked blushing slightly ashamed of himself for having treated her so.

Morning Glory had resumed her place at the helm and was stearing the ship to the nearest port. She had noticed that there was watter in the brig when she had gone down to check on the boy. She was going to have the ship looked at. There was no way she was going to have the fastest pirat ship sinking because of a small leak. She smiled as what the boy thought came to mind. "Do I think I'm the queen of sheba? No honey, but I'm pretty darn close... as you will see when we dock at sundown." She said to herself. She began humming a tune and she smiled to herself.

Rachel stood up as the boy came over. " hello." she said being cautions. " uhm..no you didnt hurt me." she said hiding the forming bruise on her wrist. " my name is Rachel" she said ignoring some awkwardness.
Evan stood up in front of his sister. " And my name is Evan.." he shook the boys hand. " i'm her older brother." he said putting enfeise(sp) on the older.

Silver Moon Ducked his head meekly as Evan introduced himself. "My Lady wishes me to look after Lady Rachel ... " He fell silent for a moment then looked up at Evan. "We will be docking at sundwon, Lady Glory has some business to attend to land side. You can get some better cloths for yourself and Lady Rachel then if you like Lord Even." He addressed the older boy that out of respect, much like he addressed Morning Glory, and he addressed Rachel as such simply because it he thought it fitting to do so.

Evan was a little weirded out by this guy called him Lord Evan but didnt say anything about it. " uh...alright....and where do i find...this morning glory lady?" he asked needing to speak with her about how they got there and how they could get back.

Rachel was blushing and didnt know it. she smiled as he called her Lady, no guy had done that before. " your name is silver moon? thats an interesting name." she said once again ignoring her brother and all awkwardness.

"Thank you Lady Rachel, I have a twin brother named Golden Star, he stayed landside. You'll probably meet him when we dock thisevening." Silver Moon said glancing at Rachel. He turned his attention back to Evan. "She is at the helm Lord Evan, but ... I wouldn't disturbe her though."

Evan nodded, she seemed like someone who could chop off your head at a moment's notice he didnt want to catch her on her bad side.

Rachel smiled.

Evan decided to walk around deck. he left his sister with careful instructions not to get in the way. she rolled her eyes and started walking with Silver moon.
Evan walked around looking at the different oddities around the ship. he noticed different things, things different from a ship he'd seen before. he had been around ship's before. him and his dad had gone fishing quite a bit, they had visited some shipping docks and found some old looking ships like this one.
this ship looked like it could withstand anything. it didnt look new but it didnt look old. it sort of had an ageless quality to it. he had noticed but he was walking straight twards Morning Glory. he was looking elsewhere when he ran right into her. " oh, i'm sorry...please forgive me.." he said taking a step away from her.

Silver Moon gave Rachel a tour of the ship being careful not to get in the way of any other crew members. "I don't have much skill yet but I'm learing some of the arts." He said refering to the magical arts.

Morning Glory looked over at Evan and smiled. "You have no reason to appologise, you may approach me whenever you like." She reached out and grabbed his hand. "Come ... " She pulled him toward the wheel. "I'll teach you to stear the ship if you like."

Evan relaxed and laughed as she pulled him closer to the wheel. " uh..are you- oh okay..." he said as she placed him in front of the wheel.

Rachel smiled. " what arts? like tieing knots and hoisting ancor's(sp) stuff like that?" she asked looking into his eyes.

Morning Glory smiled as he took the helm. "Good ... now do you see that dark spot on the horizon? Keep her nose pointed in that direction. " She placed her hand over his and moved the wheel just a bit. "There you go, you're going just fine.

Silver Moon blushed slightly. "That's work Lady Rachel ... I was refering to the Elemental Magics." He said smileing sheepishly.

Rachel was confused. " Magic? what sort of Magic?" she asked him now understanding why some thing on this ship might be different.

Evan smiled. this was exciteing he had never done anything like this before. sure he had driven a boat before but nothing of this proportion. " so this is your ship?" he asked morning glory.

"Yes... My father had her commetioned, but died before he ever saw her. He named her for me ..." She fell silent. She was unaccustomed to thinking about the past. She took her hand from his and turned to look at the map busying herself to keep her mind from unpleasant thoughts.

Silver Moon tilted his head to the side. "Elemental Magic ... It's not uncommon among the people picked by lady Glory. Everyone abord uses some form of it. I'm still learning though."

Rachel stopped walking and turned twards Sliver Moon. " so you mean to tell me these people can weild magic?" she put her hands on her hips in disbelief.

Evan saw the distant look on Glory's face. " i'm sorry if i have caused to pain thinking about the past. my father died too if that helps." he said still steering the mighty ship.

Silver Moon nodded and pointed out several people who were in fact useing Magic at that exact moment. "It's not hard to miss it. Elemental magic is very simple. For instance that man there ... He helps control the wind. Even thought it just looks as if he is studying the sails... and that one there. See how the wood of the ship moves to help him hold that in place as he cleans it?" He balled up his fist and held it out to her. "Watch carefully, but don't touch." He opened his hand revealing a small blue green flaim. "Light is the easiest element control... Shadow being the hardest and most dangerious." He extinguished the flaim by simply closeing his hand over it. "I told you ... I'm still learning.

Morning Glory kept her eyes on the map despite the fact that it was blured by the tears that threatened to fall. She had been very close to her father and that gentle reminder of him brought to the surface all the anger, hurt and betrayal she had locked away when he had died.

Rachel was shocked. " wow...to be honest i had no idea that magic exsisted.." she said. she took his hand and looked at it making sure it wasnt a trick. she looked around at all the people on the ship and really started to notice and understand what was really happening. " i guess i just didnt know what to look for." she walked over to the edge of the ship and ran her hand along the wood. " do you have to be born on this or do you just learn?" she asked with much curiosity.

Evan saw her intently staring at the map and realized how much this had hurt her. she had some deep wounds. he stepped away from the wheel. " maybe you should take over..." he said hoping that might help..

Morning Glory brushed the tears from her eyes and returned her thoughts to the map in front of her. "Are you so unconfident in yourself that you cannot bring her to port?" She glanced over her shoulder once again pushing the painful memories to the back of her mind and hidding behind a teasing smile.

Silver moon tilted his head pondering Rachel's question. "Everyone is born with some elemental abilities. But it takes time to learn to control it." He fell silent for a moment. "I'm not a very good teacher, but if you want to learn, I can help you learn fire."
