Luinen opened her mouth to say that if it was spying that needed to be done, that the gargoyle would be too big and too noticeable when Minna stated that her dragon was in trouble. Nenwa, who was around Luinen's neck, chirped worriedly and disapeared. The fire lizard had the power of telaportation, though rarely used it. Nenwa sent back telapathic pictures to Luinen of Felicity.

"I think you guys might want to see this," Jeniya called. She pointed with a pale finger at the corpse that she had tripped over earlier. "We're looking for those monsters."

Luinen came over to look at what Jeniya had pointed at, having left the kelpie by the river. She gasped at the sight of the creature.
"If this is what did this to the village, then we must be up against a powerfull enemy. There aren't very many of these corpses around, so they must be a fierce race," she murmered to herself, kneeling by the body of the orc creature...

Callisto rose to her feet and walked to where the group stood over the corpse of the creature. "How vile," she muttered in disgust. "Only a monster could take so many lives so," Upon hearing the news of Minna's dragon she felt her breath catch. "We have to find her soon. Is there any way you can deduce her exact location?" she asked Luinen.

Jeniya took a deep breath inward and tried to pinpoint the location of the dragon through her blood. "I think I've found her," she said later. She quickly gave them the general area since the only thing Jeniya had to go by was the blood that the dragon shed from her wounds.

"Hold on a second," she said, and winced visibly at the telapathic images. "She's hurtt, bad, and still being attacked at. Two miles north up the river by the great rock island. I'd recognize that place anywhere."

"Why?" Galain asked again, biter. "Why should we impose the same cruelty on them as they did on us? An eye for an eye?" He looked around, frustrated. "We don't even know who we're dealing with. If we are going to act, we shouldn't rush this and think this through carefully."

Callisto gave Galain a slight smile. "I can understand your feelings, Galain. But whomever these warriors are, they are now once again attacking a friend." She fell silent for a moment. "I know if it were Este being attacked I would risk heaven and earth to save her."

Minna's eyes flared suddenly,"Felicity is hurt....Let's go save her." She jumped into the air and headed to where her dragon was almost immediately.

"To run into a trap?" Galain sneered, unable to understand such rashness and stupidity. "Or to run into the arms of an entire army of an unknown enemy? Then would the deaths of your kin be meaningless wouldn't it?"
He stood up and looked upon his fellow elementals. He understood their want for vengeance and their worry about their friends who were in danger now.. but didn't they understand that the risk of exposing themselves by being reckless was too high? Then they would loose everything.

Jeniya sighed. She understood both sides of the conflict and knew both sides at their points. She knew that she wanted vengeance after what they've done to her people, her lover. Yet she could not deny that Galain had a fair point. These creatures, whatever they were, were either very clever or very strong. Neither of which meant good news for the survivors. She thought for a minute and then said, "Well, I know our friends are in danger, but Galain is right. Whatever these creatures are, they're either really clever or really strong or both. And there is a lot of them. An entire town of Elementals couldn't stop them, what chance have we got?" Jeniya saw Minna soar off and swore. "Right, well," she continued. "What I suggest is that we try to divert some of their attention from the dragon and us. Preferably temporary creatures."
