As morning arrived, Darius groaned softly as the light slid under his eyes, awaking him.

Stirring as the morning light crept into the room and cast shadows upon the wall, Gareth groaned softly as he awoke. Yawning as he opened his eyes, a sleepy smile traced his lips as he saw Calista still sleeping peacefully in his arms, her angelic face an image of perfect peace at rest.

Rosalina woke slowly, frowning as she missed waking without Darius. Back home he would sneak in and sleep as a lion on her bed if she was upset. SOmething that happened easily.

Opening his eyes, Darius sighed sadly to find himself waking up alone. He missed waking with Rosalina at his side, even though their separation had only been one night, it already felt like an eternity and he found himself tempted to change into a lion and sneak into her room again.

Slowly climbing out of bed, Darius went to check on Rosalina.

Roused slightly as she felt Gareth's lips upon hers, a soft smile traced Calista's lips as she stirred and her lashes began to flutter. Opening her eyes a few minutes later, Calista gave Gareth a slightly sleepy smile.
"Good morning, sleeping beauty," Gareth whispered to her with a playful smirk as he gently caressed her face.
"Mmm," Calista murmured softly. "I think I should stay alseep a bit longer to steal some extra kisses from you," she remarked with a grin as she leaned forward to give Gareth a good morning kiss.

Frowning in concern, Darius just studied his true love. "Ro, darling, are you all right?" he asked her, worry in his voice. "Your voice sounds terrible."

When they finally parted, Gareth gently brushed a strand of Calista's blonde hair behind her ear, letting his hand caress her cheek as he did so. "How are you feeling, love. And I want the truth," Gareth told her seriously.

Nodding as he gave her a sad smile, Darius pressed a gentle kiss to her forehead as he rose to his feet and left the room, hating to see her suffer.

Making his way to Gareth's room, Darius simply knocked on the door and waited for the mage to answer.
Hearing a knock on the door, Gareth could only sigh as he climbed out of bed and gave Calista a wan smile. Opening the door and seeing Darius he just stared at the man impassively. "Yes?" he asked.
"Rosalina awoke with a sore throat, can you help her?" he asked.
"I'll be there in a minute," Gareth remarked before turning away as Darius headed back to Calista's room.
"Is everything all right?" Calista asked Gareth.
"Rosalina has a sore throat," he remarked. "I am going to go to the well and fetch water for a tea."
"Do we still have any herbs left, if not I can gather some," Calista remarked.
"Try look to my cabinet there and then meet me in your room. And remember you are not to overwork yourself, you understand?" he told her sternly as Calista could only sigh.

Meanwhile, Darius went back to Calista's room to sit with Rosalina while they waited. "Gareth should be here soon," he told her.
