Once the water was warm enough, Calista added the herbs and mixed the water and herbs together to make a broth. When everything was properly mixed, Calista grabbed a cup and scooped some of the brew into it with the ladle before walking over to her friend and handing her the drink.

Sitting beside Rosalina again, Calista just sighed softly. She hated the weakness that still lingered over her body. "Hopefully Gareth will return soon with a herb that will be more effective against your cough," she said softly. "And with any luck, he maybe able to find a berry or herb that may help Darius recover faster."

Giving Rosalina a small smile Calista merely nodded as she leaned back on her hands and just drew in a deep breath. She had barely moved around and yet she already felt winded.
