Calista gave Rosalina a weak smile at her words. "I'm all right," she murmured, closing her eyes for a brief moment as a wave of dizziness hit her.

Walking unsteadily over to the table, Calista squeezed some berry juice into a cup before turning back to Rosalina. As she moved back to her friend, the room seemed to spin and float before her eyes and she began to sway on her feet as her lashes started to flutter. Raising her free hand to her forehead, Calista paused briefly as a weakness descended over her entire body. "Ooooh..." the young woman moaned as the cup slipped from her hand and clattered to the ground, its contents spilling as the vessel shattered. Blue eyes rolling back not even a second later, Calista's lashes fluttered close as she crumpled to the floor in a heap and lay in a dead faint.

Rosalina paled. "Gareth!!" She yelled, her throat screaming in pain. "Gareth!!" she went to Calista's side, trying to wake her.

Gareth had given the brew to Darius and had just closed the door to let the man rest when he heard Rosalina yell his name. True to his word, he had not divulged much information to Darius on Rosalina's cough only that he and Calista were monitoring it closely and would do all they could to help her. Now breaking into a run, the mage raced back to Calista's room, praying that his love was all right.

Calista did not respond to any of Rosalina's attempts to wake her, completely out cold.

Upon coming to the door, Gareth barged into the room and paled at seeing Calista out cold and Rosalina desperately trying to rouse her. "CALISTA!" he shouted as he rushed to her side. "What happened?" he asked Rosalina, worry in his hazel-green eyes.

Gareth sighed sadly and nodded at Rosalina. "You should save your voice before your cough gets worse," he told the woman quietly before gently lifting Calista into his arms. "Ai, Rose, you are going to die before your time at this rate," he murmured to the unconscious woman. "Come on love," he whispered to Calista as he shook her gently to rouse her, although she remained limp and unresponsive in his arms, her head slipping down toward her shoulder.
