Mick glanced at Katrina, then back at Vlad. "Vampire hunter, aren't you?" He asked, narrowing his eyes. He already knew the answer, but he wanted to hear it himself.

Vlad grinned evily. "Much worse. A European vampire hunter." He stated. After he spoke, he pulled back the trigger, not yet shooting.

Katrina looked at Mick, fear all over her face. She knew she had to be quick if the hunter shot.

Vlad saw Katrina's fear, he still kept the gun pointed at Mick. "Ah... the lady is scared. Could it be that Mick St. John really is a vampire? There is one way to find out..."

Vlad grinned at them, then while he still looked at Mick with incredible speed and angle he pulled out another gun with his free hand and aimed it at Katrina, he pulled back the trigger on the second gun and shot at Katrina. "Try and save her Mick, and I WILL kill her." Vlad hissed, narrowing his eyes at Mick.

The world seemed to slow down as Katrina saw the bullet comming at her. Her only hop was that she would be shot, and Mick didn't get in the way. Then she felt it, the pain raced through her body as she felt the bullet hit. Smiling she looked at Mick before collapsing.

Mick watched Katrina collapse, though he did not move because he knew that Vlad would follow through with his words. "What do you want?" He asked coldly, narrowing his eyes.

"You're life." Vlad replied with a smirk. He glanced at the girl, before looking back at Mick. "And the girl."

Katrina felt dizzy and light. The words of the two men blended and blurred. 'At least Mick is alive.' She thought, the pain wasn't easing up.
