“I know, dear,” Anthony nodded. He was feeling about the same way as Elaine. But Cutler was a grown boy now and perhaps this would do him some good. Maybe it would help him to grow up even more and to mature. After they were in bed Anthony stared at the dark ceiling. The only thing that was bothering him was… well, where exactly was Cutler? Anthony knew he had some enemies out there who would like nothing better then to get their dirty hands on his son. That boy of his would get a good, sound talking-to when they brought him back home tomorrow. He scowled and thought over all the things he would tell Cutler when he got his hands on him.

“Oh,” Cutler brightened a little, “Well, then I’ll take the bed!” he walked over to her and looked down at her expectantly. He waited for her to jump out of the bed for him. When she didn't he said again, “I said that I would take the bed. I’m the guest after all. You should sleep on the floor if you are really so poor that you don’t even have at least one room for guests.” Even though he would be still sleeping in a girl’s room (and this girl’s room too no less!) at least he would have it to himself and she could sleep where she belonged - on the floor with the dogs. He yawned and tapped his foot impatiently. It had been a rough day for him but at least it was over and maybe if she left him in peace he could have a good rest. That’s what he only wanted now. He was tired of her, tired of this place, tired of his parents. He only wanted sleep.
