Lynn gasped as they came into day light. She was riding a dragon! He was large and a dark grey-blue color. "Koltok, what happened?" She asked, her ind still not entirely gripping what was happening. She heard a responce in her mind I am a dragon now The voice was deep and clear.

Lucas looked down to see a large male green dragon with dark blue eyes. The dragon turned and looked at Lucas. Hang on, hatchling! Lucas grasped and asked, "Nutty?" Aye, it's me!

Aubrey glanced down to see a huge dragon underneath her instead of her horse. He was a deep reddish orange and his scales glowed brightly in the sunlight. Don't be scared! Aubrey heard a voice in her head say.

Emmeline emerged into the daylight. She was blinking furiously trying to focus. When she looked down she saw not Zanikar, her horse but a huge deep navy blue dragon.
"Zani?" She choked.
'Yes.' the answer rang through her head.

Bryce looked at his brother and they both grinned. "Lucas...he said we where in Aleagisa. Ash said that this is the land of the dragon riders....like Eragon." Lucas' eyes widened and he looked around. "But where are we going?"

Aubrey felt herself rising off the ground. She clenched her knnes hard into her dragon's sides. Surprisingly, she was not scared. There was no where for her to put her hands, so she hoped that nothing funny would happen. I won't let you fall. The deep voice said inside her head yet again.

"Wha-" Emmeline started. Without warning Zanikar unfolded his wings and took off from the ground. Emmeline cried out and just had time to grab him around his neck.

Lucas whipped back as his dragon, Nutty, took off and followed the bronze dragon. "Whoa!" Lucas yelled, barely hanging on. Trust me, young dragon rider, you will be fine. Nutty's voice said in his head. Lucas replied, regaining his balance. Easy for you to say.

Bryce smiled as he watch Lucas regain himself and asked Ash, Could you follow Aubrey and her dragon, Ash? But stay close to Lucas...in case he does something stupid. He heard a low rumble, which he figured out was Ash's laugh. Ash replied, Torn between your brother and love. Bryce blushed, but then Ash took on speed and followed the rest of them.

Tri sat in a stunned silence as the horse that he was riding turned into a silver dragon. "Holy..." he thought.

A strange voice entered his mind, "Please refrain from using profanity, evern in your mind."

"You're the dragon, aren't you?" Tri looked around at the others.

"Yes, little one, and you are my rider," his dragon replied, and now Tri knew who it was.

"Well, this is... Whoa!" Tri yelled the last part out loud as Iridur took off from the ground and followed the bronze.
