Rafe glanced over at Aria and fought off the first smile that had threatened to break his face for manny days. He had always found humor in sarcasm and wity statements it seemed.

Looking back towards Luinnar he recalled what he knew of her an then looked back to the watter. At least he knew that he was with able fighters and that was something he could respect.

Aria could hear waves lapping against the black ship closer to her now. They would be there soon, as the wind was strong today, carrying them easily. A smile broke her lips as she bit her lower lip softly, recounting past memories.
"How close to you judge we are from our whirlwind sea adventure?"

Rafe walked up to the edge and stepped up on the side, holding to one of the sail's ropes. He couldn't quite tell how many men were going to be ont he ship but he could judge the best entrance point.

Rumour watches as the black ship tries to run from them, but her ships enclose it, circling it like a wolf pack circles its prey. Her smile has become fierce and unrelenting, and her reptilian eyes are cold and alight with a rather cruel, fey light.....

Aria stood up. She gripped her dagger hilts and flicked her wrists, releasing the catches on the sheaths as the daggers slid into her palms. She twirled them absentmindedly, as she leaned against the rail. They were approaching the ship fast, the action would be upon them soon.

Rafe watched on, ready to jump as the other ship got within his range. He coud see the enemy on the ship, some looking scared, others determined.

It would be the determined ones he would go after. Not only to remove them with the max of his strength but to bring more practice witht he ordeal.

Aria could see two different emotions among the sailors. Cold determination to survive or at least fell a few men before they went to the beyond. Others had fear. They were not the hardened sailors their comrads were. They were boys, barely men, who had taken a sailors life as a way to earn some money. She knew the feeling, and she felt a twinge of guilt at the suffering on their part. But that wouldn't stop her from sinking a dagger into their flesh if she had too.

Rafe looked at those that had fear in there eyes, glaring down there souls and sendig fire into there spirits to melt away there will. Not only was skill his weapon but mental warfair served him well with his elusionary capabilities he could efect many minds.

The other ship was just over ten yards away when Rumour made her move. With eye-blurring speed she leapt forwards, wings suddenly sprouting from her shoulderblades. She lands on the deck, lashing out with a bull whip and a double-edged longsword, taking out the first sailors.....

Soon the boat moved close enough for Rafe to span the ten foot jump easily and exicute his plan of action.

Jumping aboard he brought out his chain to immedietly wrapp round the small mounted, swivling cannon on the ship's side and yanked it out of position letting it fall into the water.

Several men came at him as he lashed out with his chain, defending and attacking with his sword as well. Coupled with his elusionary capabilities he passed behind one man, giving the impression that he had ran off away. He came in from behind easily tacking out the three men.
