[ROFL!!!!! Okay, so Margaret was beaten up by some seventh year Slytherin boys, which really got everyone angry. Remus asked Sirius and James to help him in revenge. Danielle was mad enough to say that she was with them, too, but Remus and Sirius said they didn't want her involved in case she got hurt. She was mad - VERY mad - but settled. On the way to the Common Room, she was followed by Regulus Black, who she took care of, but Sirius came and found out, and beat him up. In the process, Regulus had expressed that he thought she was a disgrace to the Black family because she was a half-blood. She and Sirius are now in the Common Room. Danielle has just hugged Sirius and said, "It's just been a bad day..."]

James watched the exchange quietly, though his hand had already found its way to his pocket, gripping his wand tightly. Slytherins. He couldn't understand why they despised Gryffindors, but he knew it was rooted in an age-old tradition. Since Salazar and Godric. And their Houses upheld that tradition. They needed no reason to hate each other, they just did. And Slytherins took that as an excuse to wreak havoc; they just made it a special case when it came to the Marauders or anyone close to them.

Like Margaret.

A cool smile had made it's way to his face as he spoke, tone equally steely, "Well, we'll just have to find some way to get back at them, won't we? 'Course, we have to work our way 'round McGonagall and everyone, but that's easy..." He trailed off, already thinking of what they could do, but paused, upon hearing that Danielle wanted to join in. He frowned.

"Danielle," he began calmly, "I know you want to help; and that's brilliant, really! But you might get in trouble for what we might end up doing. And that's just not on, yeah? You can... err, help plan?" He cast a glance to Remus and Sirius before continuing. "Because the main bit's a tad risky when it comes to school rules..."

And the main bit needed planning.

He took those thoughts with him as he left the Great Hall and made his way up to the Common Room. Muttering the password to the Fat Lady, still frowning in thought, he clambered through the potrait hole and scanned the room, quickly catching sight of Sirius and Danielle. Who looked, to him, like they didn't want to be disturbed. Reasonable.

"Hey, mate," he acknowledged, nodding his head. With a soft sigh, James headed for the dormitories and flopped on his four-poster. It drove him crazy. He knew he was supposed to be helping Remus and Sirius with the Margaret situation, but he couldn't help but also think about Lily.

Again.

Danielle nodded at James when he passed by. It hadn't exactly felt great to be called a filthy half-blood by your boyfriend's little brother, no matter how twerpy he was or how much she tried to say it didn't bother her. She sat with her chin in her hand, staring at the fire. She wanted to go up to her dormitory and punch the wall. First she couldn't do anything to help Margaret, then she got insulted by a filthy little worm. Yet, it wasn't that that bothered her so much...what <i>did</i> bother her?

She knew it deep inside, just didn't want to admit it. She was upset because Sirius had done such a thing to his brother, and that it was her fault. He might get in trouble for it, and again, it was her fault - she could've waited for one of them to go with her.

Remus took Margaret back to her dorm and pulled her in a hug before he let her go. Once again he started wondering why all this happened to her form all people. He kissed her and looked in her eyes "Go now, take some rest. If you need something I'll be right there." he pointed to one of the corners "In the common room." he said and let her go. He walked over to the only chair which was in the corner and sat down. Things weren't going the way he planned and there was a full moon problem too. He put his head in his hands and stayed like that.

Danielle looked up at Sirius as he left, then back down. She felt terrible. She sat there all night, and woke on the same couch in the morning only when someone shook her shoulder.

When Remus raised his head he saw that the first sunrays are breaking out trough the window. He fell asleep in the common room, on a chair. Normally, that would be pretty weird thing. He got up and stretched. Suddenly he realized that someone is sleeping on the couch. He walked over to it and shook the girl's shoulder "Dani, wake up."
