Hearing the strange sound, Calista could only sigh. After giving Gareth a quick kiss on the cheek, she slowly climbed off of his lap and went to pick up the medicinal book that she had been reading again.

Seeing her flush, Darius gave her a gentle smile as he tenderly rubbed her back. "There is nothing to be ashamed about, love," he whispered.
Sighing to himself as Calista quickly busied herself in trying to find a cure, Gareth felt both admiration and concern for her at the same time. "Don't strain yourself," he murmured in her ear before he picked up another of the medicinal books as well.
