Melda made it up to her room and back down in record time. She deposited all her books except those she absolutely needed and raced back down to the cafeteria, hoping all the dessert wasn't gone. Grabbing some food, she scanned the area for Luthien and spotted her talking to a couple of other girls.
Grinning, she joined them. "Did the newbie-welcoming fever take over, Luth?" she asked, teasingly. "No, I'm kidding. I'm Meldawen, by the way." This was directed at the others.

"Wil" she said smiling. "Hey, you were there with Creative Writing also.. " She grinned and took a bite in her sandwich. "I've problems with remembering faces."

Melda shrugged. "I'm okay with faces. It's names I have trouble with." She put her lunch down and sat. "So, you're new, i'm assuming?"

[Oi, new student here! *points at self* Do I need to post a bio? I think not, as I should like to remain quite mysterious... sort of. ]

Larael was quite in awe of the entirety of the AU Boarding school. She had been welcomed by the teachers at the door [OOC: When I first joined, there really wasn't any Welcoming Team, so I got welcomed by the mods], and was now off to her dorm room. It was number 424 on the south side of the castle overlooking the grounds. As she walked, she couldn't help wondering where all the students were, as the halls seemed completely empty.
She wandered silently up the corridor, her large bag slung over her shoulder. Reading the numbers above the doors, she stopped in front of brightly painted green one. Number 424. Obviously, the owner before her had been quite a colourful person. She kicked the door open a bit with her foot and dragged her packages inside.
It was the loveliest home away from home she had ever seen. Again, the walls had been painted a lime green, and the ceiling a dark plum. Her bed stood in one corner, next to a nightstand, and a closet. On the opposite side of the room was a desk [with a computer!!], and several comfortable looking, plum chairs.
Immediately, Larael began her decorating of the room. Unfortunately, her many England flags would clash with the colour of the walls, but she put them up anyway, including one on her door. She stashed her LotR books and movies on the desk, and put up several Orlando Bloom, Johnny Depp, and other such posters about the room.
Next, she set about looking at her trusty school map to find where all her classes were. She was supposed to be in Welcoming Newbies 101, but that had started several minutes ago, probably before she had arrived.
Ah well, she thought, at least I'll have some time to explore before this place gets crowded with people. She made her way down the corridor once more in search of her class.

Elenya finished her sandwich and sat back, trying to decipher from her schedule what class she had next. After squinting at it for several minutes, she still didn't have it figured out. She shrugged slightly, got up and went outside to join a group of girls. She recognized Haldir and Will from math, and waved to them.

Mornie looked up as if waking from a trance, she saw two girls sitting next to her.... "umm...wha-?" she remembered the question and said "umm...yes, my name is mornie....a-am i intruding or something?" she thought the girls might have been there before she sat down....

Luth laughed kindly at Mornie's question, noticing she had seemed rather distracted, "Of course not! You just seemed a little lost, so I decided to say hi, and then my friend Melda joined us." She daintily cut her pizza into neat pieces while still continuing to talk. "I love your name. Mornie, it's so original! Um," she took a bite of pizza and paused while chewing, "so how are you enjoying AU so far, Mornie?"

[Geesh, how am I supposed to start posting in an RP I don't know what is going on. Well, seeing as I have finnaly read all the way through, I feel sufficently informed to make an entrance ]

Darrell sat in the shade of a tree munching thoughtfully on his sandwiches. He looked out over the grounds of the school, looking beautiful in the early afternoon sunshine. He loved it here. He had never enjoyed school so much until he came here. In fact there were times in his holidays when he wished he could be back here. He smiled as the loud babble of the students talking over thier food washed over him. It was so good to be back. he wondered how the newbies were getting on, and how soon he would get to know some of them.

Wil looked at Mel "Well sort of.. new to this school anyway.."she laughed and waved to Elenya whom she'd met with math.
She looked around the ground and spotted Kestrel and Haldir together, wondering were the other two girls would be, and other groups of chatting people.
"So what do you have next?"she smiled while glancing at a boy beneath another a tree in the shade then looking at Luthien and Meldawen.

Darrell looked up, "Hey Ellie! Good to see you again. Have a good summer?" He looked over his shoulder into the dining hall, and smiled at some of the confused and lost faces. It was obvious who the newbies were. "Met any of our new school mates yet?" he asked.

Haldir wandered around the huge hallways of AU and peered into the different classes and discussions going on. She was clearly lost and she had nobody to follow either. A girl walked by and Haldir looked at her. "Kess!!" she said delightedly. "I'm like SO glad I finally found someone i know."
