Mai stole a glance at the mutant, before looking back to Raye with questions in her eyes. She wondered what they should do, whether they should try and approach or whether Raye had other plans.
Catrin watched curiously from her safe distance, her wings beating ever so gentle. She noticed the second man nudge the girl and they both took stealthy glances at her, but made no move to approach. Despiration clawed at Catrin's mind, this could be a way to get help and food, but still there was this fearful anger inside her.

Raye decided not to step towards her, he didn't want to make her feel uncomfortable. Instead he mouthed Are you OK? - in hope that she would anwer and perhaps be the one to move towards them first.

Mai watched Raye carefully, and sensed his hesitation. He mouthed something to her but Mai couldn't see, so she looked again at the girl and waited for a look of recognition.
Catrin started to nod, but then slowly she shook her head and mouthed No. She decided she'd have to act, she was a starving waif and too long had she lived like this. She felt these people could help her. With caution, she stepped out from the corner and into the proper light. Her heart hammered as she looked for acceptance from these strangers.

Catrin looked back at the first man who turned to look at her; his gaze seemed to penetrate deep within and she felt he was summing her up. The other two looked less accusatory and she looked to them instead of the other. She walked slowly over, they seemed to be waiting for her to make the first move.
"Are you...like me?" She asked the second man, feeling foolish but needing to make sure. If they weren't, she could still fly, move on again.

Catrin shook her head, "No, I haven't. I need a place to stay though, before I starve." She replied, not offering a more elaborate or detailed account of why she was in the situation she was in.

Catrin looked again at the man who looked to begin with as if he was in a trance his concentration was so deep. "My name is Catrin Idris." She replied quietly, avoiding the penetrating gaze and fluttering her wings slightly faster.
Mai looked silently from Catrin to Raye, to Tai and back. Until she was spoken to she decided to remain quiet. She wondered if Tai was still communicating with the other mutant; if he was then it was good multitasking.

Rhys stood. He stretched and walked down the hall to his bedroom. "Goodnight." he called to Eva.
"That's a cool name." Brody said. "Good to meet you too." After a few more minutes of walking, the trees started to thin. "We're almost there." he said, glancing at Asha over his shoulder.

Soon Brody glimpsed the brick walls of the Institute through the trees. "Here we are." he walked up the back steps and pushed open the door for Asha.

Hayden walked away from Lyn, leaving the girl alone and by herself.
He rubbed his forehead and closed his eyes. A headache had been bothering him lately, ever since he found himself at the steps of this institute. How he hated it. And how he wanted to get away.
Continuing down the hall, he saw the front door open. He stopped, removed his hand quickly away from his head and looked to see who would step in.

Raye then turned his glance to another girl... was she the mutant that Tai had be contacting? Or... was it just some inferior misadventuring human?
"Ehm... hello?", he muttered as he caught clear sight of the girl, a bit startled.
