Remus groaned and leaned back "Is that today? And I thought this will be a pleasant day." he said and looked trough the window. The day was sunny, almost ideal, totally opposite to his current mood.

Danielle laughed, then sighed and got up. "I guess I should get up, then....need to fix my hair..." She went up to the dormitory, and came down about twenty minutes later in jeans, a t-shirt, jacket, and hair down instead of up. She saw Sirius, and her face turned a dark pink as she looked down. She felt terrible about how she had made <i>him</i> feel.

Sirius woke up the next morning to find the sun shining through the window. He got up and got dressed in jeans, shoes, a shirt, and a sweatshirt. He made his way down to the Common Room and saw Danielle and Remus.
"'Lo and good morning." He said a little more cheerful than necessary.

Danielle looked up and smiled at him with moist eyes. She wanted to jump up and yell, "I'm sorry!" while embracing him, but she couldn't make an idiot out of herself.

Danielle cried a bit more on his chest before pulling away and wiping her eyes. She smiled. "I should go wash my face...I'll be back in time to leave..." she went up to her dormitory.

Danielle came back out, face still a bit puffy, but otherwise fine. She walked right up to Sirius and shrugged, saying, "Well? Should we go?"

"Sure." Sirius said. He looked at her with concern but he suddenly realized, dwelling on the matter would only make things worse. He took her hand and waited for their friends

Margaret limped into the common room. It was a new day, and they would go to Hogesmade. She smiled, going there with Remus would help her forget what had happened. Including the parting words of one Slytherin student named Jacob Flint ((Supposed to be Marcus Flints father)). He had told her that if they ever found her by herself again, then they would do even worst to her. She knew if she told even Remus that, they would all be dead. She looked around the common room and saw her boyfriend waiting. "Remus," she said quietly. "are we still going to Hogesmade?"

James sighed, simply lying in bed and staring at the ceiling as shafts of watery sunlight filtered into the dorm. He listened quietly, as Sirius shuffled about, getting ready, and he blinked when the door shut and the footsteps faded. He knew he had to get out of bed; it was Saturday. It was Hogsmeade today.

Lily.

His hand was immedietely tangled in his hair, tugging gently at the dark locks in a sort of exasperated manner. Why couldn't he stop? Since when was he ever so bloody obsessed with her? He had the pick of every girl in the school, for Merlin's sake! And he's picked the only one that won't want him.

He frowned.

He had to impress her somehow today. Somehow, during the trip into town, he had to do something so terribly dashing and wonderful, that she'd have to take him. He gave his hair a sharp tug as he reminded himself firmly, Don't be an idiot.

James slipped sluggishly from under the warm covers and sighed again, sweeping his longish hair back from hazel eyes. Without really thinking, he grabbed his clothes and changed quickly, briefly getting his head stuck in the collar of his shirt. Running a hand yet again through his hair, James decided that he could do one more day without a proper brush and headed down to the Common Room, where he could hear the others.

He stepped down from the staircase, smiling lightly. "Morning, all. Lovely day, isn't it? The birds are singing, the sun is shining... and everything is just so bloody cheerful, it's positively eerie." He observed everyone's faces for a moment and sighed. "Right. It's too cheerful. Thought so."

Little did he know his shirt was on backwards.
