Edward stepped into the house uneasily. His eyes searched every corner of it, thinking he would see yet another unfriendly Vampire, or a living ghost of some sort, but all he saw were fat rats with red eyes, cobwebs, five melted candles, a cracked window, and a small black widow eating a fly. He was quite disturbed at these scenes, but wasn't as disturbed as he would've been if they were something worse. "Wait here?....Oh, uh, yes...we will wait here." He wasn't in the mood for trouble.

Jocelyn looked about the house and shivered at the simplicity of it. The air was musty and she had to cough a couple times before she got adjusted to the air. She nodded to the man when he told them to wait here.

He returned with two other arabs who were brandishing scimitars and wearing garlic.

Jocelyn cowered back when the garlic approached her. Her body tightening and her face scrunching. Her eyes went wide before she felt her throat tightening.
"Edward..." she gasped. "Run..."

Edward glanced up at the Arab's with a gulp. They looked threatening with those scimitars they held in their grasp. Even though he felt repulsive to them, he saw the garlic around their necks and in a sigh of relief, he knew they were no Vampires, and he was safe.
His attention then turned to Jocelyn who was looking quite strange. "Run? No no no, they are on our side." He gave her a promising smile before looking back at the Arab's.

Jocelyn nodded but continued to back up until she hit the wall.
"I can't breathe..." she said before opening the door and stepping out into the foggy night before collasping onto her knees, tears running down her face, gasping for breath.

Edward stared at Jocelyn, half amused and half worried. He was scientist, and would love to study matters such as these. "Dear God, what's wrong with you?" He glanced at her than back at the men who started hiding there garlic. Then it hit him like a ton of bricks. "Oh..." Was all he could say remembering that she, indeed, was a Vampire.

She nodded her head in thanks to the men before standing and brushing her black dress.
"I am fine..." she whispered a throaty reply.
