Phillipa sighed. "they're all good ideas..." she said. She held her breathe when the dragon flew only feet from the tops of the trees they were under, and thats when something caught her eye.
"or... we could try to take that coller off it. The king may be controling the dragon with it, theres magic radiating from it." she said, pointing at the dragon's neck, right under the head, slightly hidden by a few horns was a black metal coller.
"I hate this new king. I bet he wasn't even the rightful air. ohh..." she stomped her foot, and her hands curled to fists at the thought...

"And where would you find the energy to do so?? I certainly only have enough left to manage about 10 yards or 5 minutes!!" Ceri liked the idea, but she doubted the possibility of it working.

Monisa looked at them in astonishment "Do you rely simple on your own power?" She shook her head "In the mountains we must be constanly on gaurd so we take much of our power from the land, to be replensihed when we can."

Ceri smiled a sad smile. "You may have this power, but I do not. My power sadly reduces as soon as I am tired. The only possibility to regain anything of my power without some rest would be a bath in the sea - salt water helps." She sighed. "I have a feeling this business of getting anywhere may be over."

"whoah... no need to snap at any body..." Phillipa said, glancing at the Kesta'chern. She then closed her eyes and listened for animals around her. She found a few golden eagles. Perhaps thier sharp claws and beaks would be able to undo the latch on the coller.
Phillipa breathed real deep.Eagles... can you do something for me? Can you try to get the coller off the dragon? Phillipa sent an image of the collor on the dragon.
We shall try, came the reply...

"O don't worry, he's talented in the distractions department" with a small nod to him she launched him into the air, a few meaters from the dragon he burst into flame, but did not burn. He then flew round in a cirle ivadeing its claws

Ceri watched. She admired the others and wished she was able to do something. She cursed herself for her minor strength and was determined to practise more. But there was nothing she could do now, so she settled down to wait.

Phillipa watched the eagle do their work. She asked Monisa, "is he some kind of pheonix?" pointing at the eagle that became aflame.
The gold eagles were just out of the dragon's train of eye. Slowly going up tward the back of the neck of the dragon. There, on the coller, was a silver latch that held the coller on. The eagles were right on it, and wrapped their claws on the coller. The dragon tried to shake them off, but the eagles had already picked the latch, and the coller was falling to the ground...

The dragon screamed and seemed to turn a somersault in the air. Then a huge flame came roaring out of its mouth,hurting one of the eagles. The eagle fell towards the ground while the dragon turned away and flew towards the mountains. Ceri ran to catch the eagle, which had helped them so much.
