Darius was thrown aback a bit as Rosalina flung herself at him and he had to struggle to keep his balance. After taking a few seconds to steady himself, Darius quickly wrapped his arms around her as he gently rubbed her back. "It's okay now," he murmured softly.

"Shh, my beautiful love. Everything will be all right," Darius soothed as he gently stroked her hair.
Meanwhile Gareth just glanced over at the couple, his emotions torn. He was relieved that Darius seemed to be on the mend and Rosalina had recovered from her trance. Nevertheless, he couldn't help but feel a sense of annoyance with them as well. Had they not foolishly gone off, Calista would not be in the state she was in now. Sighing to himself, the mage just tried to push the dark thoughts from his mind yet found it hard to do so as he glanced down at the motionless woman in his arms.

"Ro..." Darius whispered as he held her close. "Are...you...all right?" he asked her. He still felt weak and sore and the effort to bring Rosalina's mind back to reality left his throat parched, but he would live thanks to Gareth and Calista.

"No, my...dear...sweet...lady..." Darius whispered. "This...is...not...your fault," he added, too worried about her to realize that she was speaking again.
Gareth just cradled Calista close as he rocked her gently, being sure that her condition did not worsen from the added strain of attempting to heal Darius in her already weakened state.
