Mia heard footsteps, faint and distant, but she knew they were coming their way. "You guys, I think we should move...like, now," Mia urged.

Sydney hid in one of the tunnels that lead off from the main one. She pressed herself hard against the wall, as she heard footsteps go past.
"Are they gone yet?" she whispered into her comm.

"Shh," Mia said quietly. The footsteps were getting louder as they came closer. Who else is it going to be? Mia asked herself. It's obviously them. We just have to keep quiet and pretend we're not here...and if that doesn't work, we'll have to run. If Sark and Kiminu got the Rambaldi artifact, it would be bad news.

Kali pressed against the wall with Sydney, Mia and Carly. The noises stopped a moment later and Kali went to Sydney. Sydney showed her what she had picked up and Kali looked at it.
"I doubt this is it." She said. She examined it for a moment longer until realizing what it was.
"It's only a closing metal piece for the openings where the rain water comes in." She said, dropping it to the ground. She then heard the noises again and each of them looked at each other.
"If they find us, they find us. We can't avoid them." Kali said.
"We need to get there before they do." She finished.
"You're right." Sydney said, and the four kept going through the sewers.

Mia was in the lead of their team when she saw something strange coming up ahead of them. It looked like a trap door. Mia pushed away the mirky water and then motioned to the others to come over and help her. When they had cleared it off, somewhat, Mia put her fingers on what looked like a crack in the wall, then noticed it was the Rambaldi symbol and it was on the door.

The team looked at each other, before they lifted up the trap door. They each looked down, and they saw a ladder leading downwards. They all suddenly heard more noises, and the noises were too close for comfort.
"It's Sark." Kali said, looking at the others. One of them would have to go down the ladder, while the rest of the team warded off Sark and Kiminu.

Mia looked at the team members one by one. "I guess I'll go," she said. She stepped on the ladder and went down carefully. When she got down to where the ladder stopped, she stepped down and turned around. Mia saw it. The Rambaldi artifact was on what looked like an altar. She lifted it carefully off the alter and she saw the Rambaldi symbol underneath, sketched on the altar. Mia grabbed hold on the artifact and climbed up the ladder, careful not to drop it.

Kali nodded when Mia went down the ladder. After Mia had went down and disappeared from sight Kali began to hear more noises. She turned to Sydney and Carly, before the noises were right next to them. Kali whipped her head back around; her hair flew into her face as she pulled out two handguns. She pulled the trigger on each of them, and began shooting rapidly at Sark and Kiminu. Sydney and Carly began shooting too, and Kali noticed Kiminu still limping from where Sydney had shot him.

Mia heard shots and decided to stay where she was. If she was caught in the crossfire it would be an unpleasent situation. But she didn't really have a choice. They had to get out of there sometime. She climbed faster and when she got out she hid the artifact in her jacket. Mia ducked but she could pull out her gun for fear of loosing the artifact.

Kali got in front of Mia and urged the others to go. The team began retreating backwards, while still shooting at Sark and Kiminu. Kali pulled the trigger one last time on each of her guns, before turning and disappearing around a corner with the rest of the team.

Los Angeles: APO
Mia gave the artifact to Jack, which Rohner then took. Rohner was sending it to a different DSR facility, since the last one was broken into by The Mercenaries. No one knew where this facility was, not even the agents or Jack. But, Kali was going to find out...

Mia was tired from the mission so she decided to head home earily. She went to her apartment and sat down on the couch. She picked up a book and started to read.

(All right, you guys wanted it, you guys got it. Tomorow is our day off, so no work! Although Mesa personally would prefer work, but I do what my RP'ers want. So don't go to work tomorow )

Kali knew she had to log directly into Rohner's computer to access her files. So she had to get into her office. When the office had cleared out, and all the other agents were leaving, Kali made her move. No one noticed her when she walked into Rohner's office. Rohner was busy taking the artifact to the DSR facility. Kali hacked into her computer, and found the files on where the DSR building was. She logged out of the computer, leaving it just as it was when she had come in, and left APO to go meet Sark, without anyone knowing what she had done.

Sydney went home and took a shower trying to get the sewer stink from her body and hair. She didn't know how many times she washed before she finally felt clean. After she got out she sat on the couch reading a magazine when the door opened. She looked up and smiled, it was Vaughn.

Mia's eye lids were half closed and kept shutting while she read. She decided to just go to sleep. She changed and got into her bed. Realizing how dirty she felt, she forgot she hadn't taken a shower, but she was already comfortable, and she didn't want to get up.
Mia layed in bed but couldn't get to sleep. Considering how tired she felt she thought it would be a lot easier to fall asleep then it was. She starred at the ceiling thinking about what had happened throughout the past couple of weeks. She thought about lots of things--Rambaldi, APO, Austin--and as she lay there, she thought about what her friendship to Austin meant. It was important to her--the only tie to her 'other' life.
He was the only thing that kept her from her work. Austin was the only reason she didn't go insane with all these missions and secrets and betrayals. And she had been neglecting him the past few weeks. Mia felt horrible. She lay on her side and decided that she would try and meet with him tomorrow. Then she fell asleep.

Carly and Rick had gone home after picking up the twins. When they arrived at their house, the twins scrambled out of the car and ran up the steps.Carly chuckled as she got out of the driver's seat, and Rick put an arm around her shoulder.

She smiled at her husband as they made their way up the steps and to the door. Rick unlocked it and the family walked into their house. Carly smiled and said, "I'm never doing that again.."

Rick laughed and said, "Go take a shower, Carly." "Gladly." she muttered before walking into the master bathroom, and closing the door. Twenty miinutes later, she came out, wearing her jeans and a tshirt.

Kali pulled up in the parking garage, to find Sark already waiting for her. Kali stepped out of her car and gave Sark the disk, which told the location of the DSR facility where the part to the Rambaldi machine was being kept.
"Ready for our first job together?" She asked, smirking.

Los Angeles: Kali's House
Kali walked into her house, took a shower, and did some other various things before going to bed.

The next morning Kali awoke and got out of bed. This was going to be fun...

(Haha. I still get to work! *ahem* Anyways...W00t! Haha. Okay sorry. Now I'm just hyper.)

Los Angeles: DSR Facility
"Let's go." Kali said before she pulled the ski mask over her face and dropped down from the ceiling onto the floor. She couldn't risk being seen by the cameras or the workers, because they might recognize her. Sark and Kali walked along the hallway, going towards the guard at his desk who controlled the cameras. When he noticed them he was about to alert all the other workers, that is, until Sark killed him.
"All right, I've shut down the security cameras." Sark said, standing over the guard’s dead body while he was working on the computer.
"How much time do we have before the others realize we're here?" Kali asked.
"Ten minutes, if that." Sark said. Kali nodded and left him to go get the part.
"It's located in analysis, level five." Sark said over comms.
"I'm on my way." She said, shooting another security guard down.
