"Pity, I like the blueberry kind," said Rilion, and poked the dragon's other eye. "Take that!"

Azura and Bryne weren't faring much better than Jeral and Rilion. Azura had managed to slice off the tip of the dragon's tail, but that hadn't seriously hurt it.

The poor dragon sat down and yowled at the ceiling. It had been jumped on, hewed at, poked in the eye, had the tip of its tail sliced off, and now had boiling water poured on it. It was too much. It wheeled around, knocking over several people including a singed, wet Alassea, who had narrowly avoided a burst of flame and, as was her wont, fallen into the nearest fountain. Which was fortunate, as her dress had caught on fire.
The beast flapped sulkily up through the hole in the ceiling it had made, leaving mayhem in its wake.

"Finally, the batty thing has flown!" cried Jeral jubilantly, looking about to see where that tea pot had gone too.
"And I do so love a spot of teacoughhintcough," he added as an afterthought.
The dragon had indeed left mayhem. Singed people and objects, smouldering curtains and rugs, burning piano's and viola's, and a huge bonfire of the best punch. The room fairly glowed with it, as pyromaniac's danced about happily.
And then Jeral saw Diana again, drinking tea and looking oh-so-pretty.
"Hullo love," he said, walking up to her... "is it hot in here, or is it just you?"
[worst pick-up line ever, haha!]

Bryne raised his eyebrows, or what was left of them (they had been rather singed) as the dragon flew off. He wiped his bloody sword off on a nearby tablecloth, sheathed it, and walked over to where Alassea was. "Are you alright, my lady?" he gallantly offered her his hand to help her up.

As the Dragon flew away moodily, Rosa redrew her sword. "pax fini" she annouced throwing the china away with a tinkle, the blackness spreading from her as she bore down on Diana

"Oh yes, quite," said Alassea brightly. "This is the most exciting ball I believe I've ever been to! You look a little singed, though," she commented, looking him over.

"Hold on a moment, my gallant one," Lady Diana said sweetly, standing on tiptoe to kiss Jeral on the cheek.
She delicately put away her tea set and redrew her sword. "You shall die today, evil Rosa!"

"Ah, yes." Bryne brushed a hand over his eyebrows. A few clinging bits fell off his face. "Well, it's a small price to pay to rid the ballroom of a dragon." he said with a grin.

Jeral staggered over to the elf prince, and eyed him up and down.
Finally, with a decided nod, he said, "You're a jolly sport, eh, young prince! Pleasure fighting you, a real pleasure sir!"

"Likewise!" said Rilion heartily, shaking Jeral's hand. "Now if I could only remember the reason I was doing it in the first place..." he added with a frown, looking as though he was trying hard to recall some minor detail and it kept slipping out of his grasp.
"Quite right," agreed Alassea, surveying herself. "I didn't really like this dress anyway."

"Blasphemy!" Diana cried dashingly, undauntedly, daringly. She leaped forward, sword leading.
