Naidele nodded her agreement to her sisters words then regarded Khienro, her emerald eyes looking much older than her 17 and a half years. "And the world would be thrown into darkness," she said solemnly, "Okandar would have unimaginable power. Whatever he willed he could have. Whatever happens in the process, no matter what, Okandar must be defeated.

Khienro, looking quite lost and slightly scared by Naidele's eyes, nodded.

"Alright... So, I've just signed up for the front line of the most important battle of the universe?" he asked, attempting to use his wry sarcasm to lighten the situation a bit.

Naidele gave Khienro a small smile, and her expression softened. "Yes, and you, as well as you, Aeryn, and you, Orindil," she said, "Will be remembered for the aid you are giving us." She reached up and lightly touched Khienro's cheek. "Thank you."

Khienro blushed slightly, and looked down at the ground.

"Well, its not like we really had a choice after we found out what exactly we were doing, but you are very welcome, m'lady."

"A moving speech," Orindil intervened, raising an eyebrow. "I've always wanted my name to go down in history as The Unknown Elf who helped the Five Keepers."

He paused for a moment, then ducked his head in apology. "Forgive me. I am tired." He glanced up at the moon, which was already halfway across the sky. "I suggest we get some rest. If you truly are to defeat Okandar, his fortress is across the continent. There's no time to waste."

Nakaida threw him an anxious glance, but nodded in agreement. "Yes."

She sounded rather subdued, and as another breeze whistled past her she put out a hand as if to brush it away.

Naidele snatched her hand away from Khienro's face with a blush. "Yes," she said, "We all need rest. I for one am very tired." She created a flame between her hands to warm herself with. Now that their companions knew of her and her sister's powers they could use them freely. She started to walk away but then a thought came to her. "We cannot all sleep unguarded. We need to take shifts standing watch."

Khienro, taking a deep intake of breath, attempting quite sucessfully to hide a yawn, stood up, streaching his legs.

"I'll take first watch." He said, grabbing his sword and scabbard as he passed the tree that it was resting agaist. He then nimbly climbed up the tree next to it, which had some lower branches. He then settled himself in the curve of a branch, surveying the land around him.

"I'll take second," said Nakaida. "Wake me when you feel sleepy."

She settled herself in a hollow between two large tree roots, but she couldn't make herself feel particularly sleepy. For one, she'd never considered the fact that her powers might alienate her, from anyone - but it seemed only probable now and she disliked the idea extremely.

Khienro nodded. As he stared out into the dark forest glade, he pondered Nakaida and Naidele's powers. Yes, it would be definatly hard for them to accociate commenly with people.... but, he would give it his best to keep them company. Their powers didn't really bother him, as he had been reading stories and studying the higher powers of the world as long as he could pick up a book and read. He looked down at Naikda, whom seemed to be pondering something or another between two roots, Orindil... He wasn't exactly sure what he was doing... He couldn't see Aeryn, though he could hear him breathing, obviously asleep. His eyes lastly fell upon Naidele, whom he wasn't sure was asleep or not. Khienro simply sat there staring, rather looking like he had had a mug too much ale, with the smallest smirk imaginable plastered between his cheeks. He had never seen anyone as beutiful as these ladies, namely Naidele, and obviously had much to work on in his department of self-control.

Naidele laid down and closed her eyes but she couldn't make herself go to sleep. She had too much to think about. She was worried that now that their companions knew of her and Nakaida's powers, they would feel uncomfortable around them. She didn't want that. Especially not with Khienro. She blushed even as she had the thought. But why would anyone enjoy being with two woman like them? They certainly weren't like other people.

After a few more moments of trying vainly to go to sleep, she rolled over and opened her eyes. She saw Khienro looking at her. She blushed and smiled. Since she couldn't sleep anyway, she got up and walked over to him. "Would you like some company?" she asked.

"I would, that is, if you can miss some rest."

Naidele smiled and sat down next to him. "I know I should get some sleep," she said with a shrug, "But I don't think I can right now."

Khienro's brows came together, and he tilted his head slightly as he sat back in his not-so-comfortable branch.

"Oh? Why's that?" He asked, looking down at Naidele, trying to stay as quiet as possible, and trying his best to see, there wasn't much light to be spoken of.

Aeryn listened in silence, sighing, for he was right...he had gotton himself into more trouble than he could carry. Well, to late now. He thought and then said, "I'll take any watch. Just wake me when it's my turn." Then, he went to sleep by a old oak tree.
