Alena gave Aryann a slight smile. "I guess," she replied, wondering whether she would truly be able to get any sleep that night. She knew that the night itself would probably return her thoughts to the Stonestar tribe and to Xavier, and she found herself wishing that they the lines between them had not been so clearly drawn-that an alliance between their tribes could perhaps lead to a permanent peace.

Reed nodded to Aryann. "I will be off to get some sleep." he said. He nodded to the rest of them, then set off towards his bedroll. He wasn't one who complained about getting too much rest.

Tika took out a small container from a pack she had place by her bed before. "Rub this on the wond, it nulls the pain." she said and looked at Gareth, she wanted to talk to him alone. Despited everything, Tika wanted to make sure he was ok with her not telling the truth before, and he trusted her again, especially since they would fight together again.

Alena saw Tika glance over at her brother and guessing that she wanted to have a word with him alone she took her leave. Getting her bedroll, she laid it out and then crawled into in, not sure if she would be able to get any sleep. Staring up at the stars she sighed to herself. Why did life have to get so complicated? she thought to herself. Things were so much simpler before-when all she cared about was her tribe. Ever since her last battle, she found herself unable to get the leader of the Stonestar from her mind.

Patriofelis watched the other Paled curiously. It appeared that the King's assasin had thrown her lot in with the humans. Noth that that suprised him, but the compassion she was showing did. But then, she likely did ot fight during the War. Shrugging, he left and curled into a corner. He would worry about his weapons later.

Gareth remained silent for a moment as he stared at her in surprise. "What's done is done," he said finally. "There is no point in dwelling on what can not be changed. You saved our leader's life this night, so I owe you a debt of gratitude," he added before falling silent again.

"Just so we understand one another," he added. "Should you prove to be false-which after tonight I highly doubt you would- it will be my anger you will have to deal with." he added in fair warning.

Gareth almost scoffed at that. "The entire Paled army switching sides. Now wouldn't that be a sight to behold?" he replied a bit bitterly. "They love to kill humans too much to do such a thing. Nevertheless, they will soon come to learn that those who remain will be much harder for them to crush."
